Hello, unfortunatelly after Windows starting and Synapse load the Chorma Studio profil the Logo at Laptop Lid is off. The interessting thing is, at computer start it is glowing as it should. If I go to system lighting settings and switch lid logo to off or breathing and back to static (static is my default setting) it works well. Also breathing works well. I already reinstalled synapse software but it doesnt help. Perhaps someone has some tips where the issue could come. Thanks in advance
I just received a 2019 Blade Stealth as a replacement for my 2017 blade stealth. I am having an issue with updating my laptop. Every time I restart my laptop, a text box displays in the lower left of the screen that tells me to update my system. It links me to Razer support, but Razer's website says that the page is not found. I have tried to link to the early 2019 laptop update page to manually install updates. This does not work either. as the Razer updater says that my laptop is already up to date. Does anybody have any insight into this issue.
So currently my less then week old Blade RTX 2080 came out of the box with GeForce drivers 417.59 yet I am seeing GeForce experience telling me I should upgrade my drivers to 419.35? What are people thoughts here - do you guys update as new release come out or let them get better with time and age? Thoughts? Update the drivers or let them ride?
Hi, so i bought my razer blade about a week ago. It's not a bad laptop by any means, but it's missing features you can get on a 900 dollar laptop, like usb-c charging, i would like to be able to charge by a docking station to leave the oem charger in my school bag. Also it's missing a windows hello which you also can get on a cheap pc. It 2400usd but for this price i expect at least some more features. Also my battery was shot straight out of the box, with a battery time that's less then two hours and customer support has been horrible. I get it, the costumer service has been impacted due to Covid-19, but at least compensate by increase warranty period. My conclusion: The laptop is great, the keyboard and mousepad is lovely, the performance exceeds my expectation. The design is flawless, but missing some basic features for the price of 2400usd.
Hello everyone, first time poster on here! I've been using my Blade 2019 since May of this year, but I only recently started to use it heavily for gaming. I noticed that the performance on this device is not what I was expecting from an RTX 2060 machine. Many benchmarking websites online claim this (RTX 2060 mobile) to be better than a desktop 1060, but even when playing semi-demanding games I get a lot of lag. I've tried a lot of things, like setting the power options to be 'Best performance', setting my display to 60Hz, and even tried to reset my laptop's graphics settings. I've seen people talk about BIOS unlocking, but I really don't want to delve that deep into the settings. I just want to know if there's some trick I don't know about that can help me get the most out of my machine. Any insight is appreciated, thank you!! P.S. I'm including a picture of my score for Unigine Superposition (6254 @ 1080P medium), which is basically half of what others are getting.
I recently purchased a new Razer Blade 14 and new 34" ASUS TUF VG34VQLIB Monitor. I was able to successfully connect to the monitor using HDMI to HDMI. I wanted to connect to it using USB-C to Display Port. I understand the laptop's USB-C port is not Thunderbolt compatible, but I thought it should still allow me to connect to the monitor. Unfortunately, it will not recognize the monitor. I am using Amazon's USB-C to DisplayPort cable, which says it supports Thunderbolt. I was unable to find on Amazon, NewEgg or BestBuy a cable that supports USB-C (3.2) to DisplayPort. Please let me know if there is such a cable or if I need to change a setting either on the laptop or monitor. Thanks.
Hey ya'll I'm gonna try to keep this short and sweet. Thinking about getting the newest Razer blade 15 ( the ones that got BOTH HDD and SSD - its gonna drop in about a week or so) Specs are almost a carbon copy of the current blade 15's. I wanted to ask if anyone who has a current 15 could drop a review about it? Pros/cons. Battery life and performance? Is Razers customer support REALLY trash?? Does it really not charge if the computer is already turned off? Any charging brick issues?
Hi all, Does anyone know a way to turn on your Razer laptop without opening the lid? Preferably from hibernation. The ONLY two things plugged in are the AC power port and the Thunderbolt 3 port. Razer 15 Advanced (mid 2019) Everything is up-to-date Thunderbolt 3 runs to a Samsung CJ791 monitor which has the Logitech USB dongle for wireless keyboard/mouse I put in considerable time searching for a solution, but no luck yet. Thanks!
I wonder if anyone knows why Razer laptops haven't implemented palm rejection? I've been reading about people complaining regarding the palm rejection for years, and my 2020 base Blade has the same problem. It is very difficult to do productivity work or even typing when every 30 seconds I accidentally click something with my palm. Even in gaming, I will accidentally shoot the weapon or perform an action because the trackpad gets triggered randomly by my palm. I have a bunch of Macbook Pros and the Surface Laptop 3 to compare to, which are all excellent at palm rejection. Is this just something we have to deal with or are there any solutions? thanks
Well, I first thought Razer was tracking in the right direction for the last few BIOS/Synapse updates (max fan toggle, keeping CPU unlocked for undervolting, etc.)This lastest debacle is just sad, though. At this point in time, all Blade 16 and 18 users (of which, many spent ~$4K or more on said devices) are now forced to choose between:Losing the ability to toggle max fans in Custom Mode, which is necessary if you are pushing for performance (who wouldn’t be on a ~$5,000 device like the Blade 18 4090, which is advertised as a Desktop Replacement) or Losing undervolting, the ability to disable Secure Boot (which is the way to access ru.efi and do BIOS modifications) and ultimately end up with significantly worse performance and louder fan noiseTaking away something that was touted and promised in your device lineup for the year, is not great. Taking away something ELSE to try to take away a main feature is even worse. There is no way around this. It is currently impossible to roll bac
I am currently in college doing a graphics design and animation course and I am looking for a laptop (preferably razer because I can get student discount) the new blade 13 fits my price range but im not sure if it can handle high level renders without a dedicated GPU. I probably could get enough money for a blade 15 but if the 13 is good for what I need it for then theres really no point (and I hate the green on the back of the 15)
Hi there, it is time to upgrade my monitor and Razer Raptor is on top of my list. I would like to us it with my gaming PC and my MacBook. However I have some questions. 1. I the display panel used in Raptor same as LG 27GL850? They have simmiliar specs, and launching at the same time. 2. Will it support my MacBook Pro 13 (2018) over the usb type C? 3. Will it give power to my MBP over usb type C? 4. Do I need to plug USB C cable to my PC for USB HUB? 5. When it will be available in Europe? (Poland)
Hey Everyone, I just bought a Razer Blade 16 and want to upgrade my storage to be dual drive. I was thinking of installing a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro to serve as an OS/Apps drive in one M.2 slot and a 4TB Western Digital BLACK SN850X for all my Game files. Can anyone tell me if this would be a bad idea? Should I go with a matched set of drives instead? Thanks!
Like many other Razer owners, my battery on my Razer Blade 15 - Advanced Model RTX "swelled"/blew up. The frame of the key board is warped and the mouse pad is sticking up beyond the frame. And of course this happened only 4 months (122 days) after the warranty expired. Sheesh! The frustrating part is I paid $3,300.00 to get 16 months use of an expensive laptop! I guess I'll just suck it up and buy a new battery and hope it works. Can anyone tell me a reputable place where I can buy a replacement battery? Thanks for your help in advance.
The new RBS I ordered comes with the 10th Gen Intel (1065G7) Ice Lake CPU and the new Nvidia 1650. I want to purchase a Core X Chroma to use as a docking station and figure why not get something that will boost performance as well. The Nvidia GTX 1660 TI is one of the better cards to pair with that CPU in an eGPU to avoid bottlenecks. Reference below: https://pc-builds.com/calculator/Core_i7-1065G7/GeForce_GTX_1660_Ti/0TU13flu/ However, that graphics card is not on the compatible cards list and I confirmed via live chat that it's not supported in the Chroma. When I asked, "What's the most powerful compatible card you recommend?"... I was told the RTX 2080 Ti. I sent the live chat rep this link showing a severe bottleneck with that card (not to mention high price).. https://pc-builds.com/calculator/Core_i7-1065G7/GeForce_RTX_2080_Ti/0TU12nlu/ He said he will ask someone and would be back in 2 or 3 minutes. After 2 or 3 minutes the chat simply ended without an answer. This was the

Hey all, I have the new Razer Blade 15 (with 10th gen i7) on backorder and was wondering if the Crucial Ballistix 3200MHz 64GB kit is compatiable with it? https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k32g32c16s4b It's the only 64GB kit I can find that anyone has in stock. I can't find the 64GB HyperX Impact kit anywhere. Does anyone have any other recommendations for a compatible 3200MHz 64GB kit? Thanks!
Hi everyone, This is my third Razor Book 13 within two weeks. I've sent two models back to Amazon - one because of a sunk-in left shift key, the other one due to the exact same problem AND a problem with the middle part of where the hinge is: it kinks when you close the lid, causing a sharp bend in the plastic cover. I've bought a model directly from Razor now, and even though this one no longer has the sunk-in key, the problem with the hinge foil is there once again. My laptop is only 48 hours "old". Seems to be a general design flaw. Is anyone experiencing the same? And if so, did you find any solution? The laptop itself is a gorgeous device, I am tired of exchanging the models, though. Cheers Jay
I have 2 razer mouses and primarily use one of them, when I plug in my abyssus v2 into my 2015 macbook pro 13 on MacOS, it often crashes my entire system and forces to restart. ------------------------------------------- I can't record the error since it crashes my whole system. furthermore, every time I adjust the light setting in Synapse 2, the application crashes. --------------------------------------------- I can record this since it only crashes the application. My mac is running Mojave
My laptop has recently started overheating. I’ve followed all the Razer tech articles and made sure everything is up to date. I have even re-installed/reset the machine. Fans etc are all running and clear. Reading on here some have tried to replace the vapor cooling. Sounds like it could fail. I can’t find any part numbers and it’s almost impossible trying to get hold of Razer. If anyone can help me get this $3k laptop back up and running I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Hellow there. I buying this headset in december 2018 and all things are good. But after installing new version of Razer Synapse i hear a noises in ny headset. Then i deleted Razer Synapse and noises are gone, but THX sound effect doesn't working without Synapse.
