Genesis The Blade Stealth is a machine with incredible potential, amazing hardware, and some significant design flaws. I've bounced back and forth between wanting to keep it, and nearly returning it in favor of my trusty 2017 Blade 14. But whenever I think of returning it I always return to the fact that so much potential sits in its tiny form-factor. I've communicated with tons of folks and gone into the darkest depths of the internet to try to resolve the issues with this new Stealth, in the hopes that I can push it to be even better than my 14" Blade--at least in the areas that matter. I found that folks were really grateful when I put all of my optimizations for the 2017 Razer Blade into one cozy guide. I'll be doing something similar for the Stealth here: I'll go over the important updates, software tweaks, power settings, undervolting of the CPU and GPU, upgrading the SSD, and more. Each chapter will be related to a common set of problems users have experienced with the new 201

Razer marketized the base model 2020 (I do need a ethernet port) with USB-C charging. So I bought it. However, neither with the additional power supply and the USB-C cable they supplied I managed to charge the notebook. Not even with my Dell 90w USB-C port I can charge it. It works smoothly with another notebook from HP. Razer Support recommended to deinstall the ACPI driver (I did, it only stopped the fan. J, are they trying to burn my CPU and GPU?!). Didn't work. I don't think they know what they are doing. Anyone else before I return the device to the shop? Product name: Razor Blade Base 2020 Product number: RZ09-03286G22 Thanks for any hint.
05-24-2022 For those who have issues with Razer Blade takes time to Boot, Restarts Several Times before Booting, Time & Date are not up-to-date, & Bios Settings keep reverting back to default settings. This is commonly caused by our CMOS Battery, some laptops use CMOS battery, Coin cell Battery, or Wristwatch battery. however other Manufacturers don't use CMOS batteries. To fix it, you can buy CMOS Battery, you have to open the laptop and check which type. as far as my Razer Blade uses it is CR1220 / ML1220 Coin Cell Battery. You can purchase it online that has a wire directly, or you can peel the plastic and remove the connector for negative, and positive terminals and place the new battery. make sure to check the negative & positive on the battery. there are several youtube video tutorials regarding CMOS batteries. See attached CMOS battery this can be purchased online or at any Computer Shop, make sure to select the correct size. however, you can still use any Big or Small CMOS
Well, I bit the bullet and bought myself one of the new Razer Blade 15 2080s. I've got to say that my first impressions are very good. I'm coming from a 2016 MacBook Pro 15 and I was hesitant to move back to a Windows laptop because the build quality on MacBooks is just so good IMO but I really missed being able to play games when I traveled. I've got a couple issues that I'm wondering if they are normal or worth exchanging the laptop out for a different one. I'd definitely appreciate some feedback. 1. The center of the touchpad seems to be slightly elevated and makes an audible click noise when you rest your finger on it without really applying much pressure at all. 2. There is some minor backlight bleed in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Hey guys, last year we had a thread about what we want to see in the upcoming Razer Blade. Maybe we can start a thread like this again, maybe Razer will hear us ;) So let's get started. For the upcoming Razer Blade 15" in 2020 i would like to see: - RTX 30XX Max-Q - AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPU's - More configuration options for Germany (Mercury White with the RTX 3070 and just 256GB SSD, switching the SSD anyway) - Maybe a little more cooling - Maybe a little more battery power I'm really looking forward to the new GPU Generation and the Razer Blade coming up with it. This year i will get a new Laptop and at the moment the Razer Blade is my favourit. So it's more like a wishlist for me ;) So what do you guys want to get in the new Razer Blade?
Just purchased this new Razer Blade 17. Connecting to an external monitor with a USB-C-to-display-port cable, and a straight display port cable. From either of the Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports. No signal detected from monitor. Whenever I plug in a monitor, NVIDIA control panel shows Optimus as the active graphics adapter. And the NVIDIA GPU becomes disabled and I'm unable to select. See screenshot. I just used the Razer BIOS updater and updated the EC as well. Model: (*Omitted) Any help is greatly appreciated!
Hi, I am currently in France and I was looking for buying the new advanced Blade 15 with the new keyboard which has been released 2 weeks ago in the US. However, it is not yet available on the french store (nowhere in the EU in fact). Do any of you guys know when it will be released ? And is it worth waiting for it ?
Hello, I'll also reach out to support today when they open up. Asking the forum if this is expected behavior before deciding to return the unit to Best Buy store. Bought Blade 14 2022 edition (with RTX 3070 Ti) from Best Buy "few days ago". So far so good, except for following odd symptom while laptop is on power supply and set in Windows 11 to not go to sleep but set to have display turn off after 15 minutes. Following happened several times already: Power LED blinks green, because screen off But screen does not come on after moving mouse, track pad movement or keyboard. Even depressing the power button does nothing. Only way to get the laptop to come on is by depressing the power button for extended seconds. But that will turn off and turn laptop back on, which causes Windows 11 to "restart", losing my work. The laptop has no BIOS update. Is there known issue with Blade 14 2022, where screen goes off, blinks green but gets stuck and will not come back on, without reset th
Hi everyone just picked up a razer phone 2nd hand for Christmas. It's a good mobile but as with many other people the front grill is weak and has a small split in it. I asked how much would a replacement cost to send out... Razer won't send out any replacement parts, holding you to ransom to send it to their German repair centre for the cost of €148 for a single new grill to be stuck on and the old one peeled off. This is not good value for money at all. Just saying we won't send out parts is ridiculous and unfair on consumers. Why can't a the small grill be sent to make the phone look good again, its not a warranty issue as they won't cover it under warranty. Why can't customers be assisted with these minor issues. €148 for a peel off, stick on is just ridiculous and there seems no good will between Razer and the customer as I'm not alone with this issue. Has anyone got a quick fix or an idea on a alternative speaker grill as their charge is day light robbery. Atb

I hope Razer will come out soon with a new Razer Blade Pro FHD soon. Other laptop manufacturers like MSI have already come out with new RTX 2080 17 inch laptops that have 3 SSDs and 32 GB of Ram. I want Razer to blow MSI out of the water with a new 17 inch RTX 2080 laptop with 3 M.2 slots and 32 GB of Ram.

I just got my new Blade 15 RTX 2060 in. Amazing. I cannot say how impressed I am with this computer. Without a doubt the best built system I have ever owned. It honestly feels better than any MacBook that I have ever owned. Just perfect. When playing Fortnite I have to say that this thing gets really really really hot to the touch. You can't hold your hand on the machine nearly the screen and even the wrist rests get hot. Yet amazingly the CPU temps never go above 80C and the GPU never above 70C. Does it get so hot to the touch because of the Aluminium? Those temps won't cause anything to fail correct? Just getting comfortable with a system getting that hot to the touch and it not being an issue for the internals. Additionally the fans really aren't that bad. I have to say I am surprised how they aren't really that loud.
I'm a bit surprised that Razer news are all over the interwebs without a single *official* mention on Insider. https://www.windowscentral.com/razers-launches-beefy-blade-studio-edition-laptops-built-content-creators I've been waiting for something like this for years, *EXCEPT* that I'm not too fond of mercury white. I'd be surprised if I were the only one... Let's see where folk stand on this point. Hopefully, it's not too late to influence Razer to release their RTX Studio Edition Blades in at least *one* additional color besides mercury white. To be entirely honest, it's mostly the white keyboard that looks really odd (nothing professional or studio-inspired, if you ask me), the chassis I could live with if I had to. Worst case, I'd put a nice skin on the thing...
Just got my Razer Blade 15 (2020) Advanced as all round it it was the best system for my needs as a developer; unfortunately the stock 16gb memory was not enough. Decided to upgrade my system a couple of days ago with 64gb of HyperX 3200 memory. Upgrade went smoothly and everything works, sadly this has been a very negative experience. Whilst the upgrade went smoothly, the process of getting the back cover off was a nightmare. I used a t5 torx screwdriver to get the screws out, the threadlock in the sockets meant having to apply a significant amount of force to get them out. One of the screws in the right corner was just impossible to get out, so much so that I ended up shredding the screw. To get that one out I had to tap the screw with a drill bit. After performing the upgrade, I proceeded to begin reattaching the backplate with the remaining screws. During the process of doing so 3 screws gave way and immediately shredded without applying any force. The quality of these screws in
Hi all, i've received my Razer Blade 15 RTX2060 yesterday. In the beginning i didn't hear any noises during surfing/office work. But later i noticed a noise (not the fans), kinda like an old HDD working, with nearly every operation i did with the laptop, e.g. right click, opening a program and so on. Is this some sort of coil whine? I know that a gaming laptop is not that quiet but still, don't know if i can get used to this.

MX250 too, which is better than the Stealth's MX150. Same battery size, same weight, same specs, but sooo much cheaper. It also comes with a premium aluminum chassis. From what I understand, what you don't get is : - unibody build - RGB backlighting (worth paying double?) - thunderbolt 3 Is there more to the Stealth that still makes it worth buying over the HP? I already have my Stealth and seeing this new laptop at that price hurts my wallet retroactively lol.
Hey guys. I am new to this forum, but I think this should be the place to ask for some feedback :) I am looking to replace my desktop with an core x chroma ( moving my 2080 over from my desktop) to make this a more portable system. I have an Acer predator x34p ( 3440x1440p) monitor and I have an high end gaming desktop 9700k 2080RTX. but I am looking to go laptop for traveling etc. I am looking at an RB15 2070 to be the machine and off an core x chroma to connect everything. question 1: would an 2080 be able to push that monitor via the core x? 2: I play a lot of EU4, Stellaris, wow, wows, wot, call of duty etc, some real cpu heavy games ( late game). is the 8570h ( i9 version ) good enough for this type of setup gaming. 3: and is the blade stealth good enough for this setup ? or should I just stay with the blade 15 2070? yes I know price to performance is in the favour of the desktop. but I do really want a laptop to take on trips :) I am selling my desktop except the GPU an
The new RBS I ordered comes with the 10th Gen Intel (1065G7) Ice Lake CPU and the new Nvidia 1650. I want to purchase a Core X Chroma to use as a docking station and figure why not get something that will boost performance as well. The Nvidia GTX 1660 TI is one of the better cards to pair with that CPU in an eGPU to avoid bottlenecks. Reference below: https://pc-builds.com/calculator/Core_i7-1065G7/GeForce_GTX_1660_Ti/0TU13flu/ However, that graphics card is not on the compatible cards list and I confirmed via live chat that it's not supported in the Chroma. When I asked, "What's the most powerful compatible card you recommend?"... I was told the RTX 2080 Ti. I sent the live chat rep this link showing a severe bottleneck with that card (not to mention high price).. https://pc-builds.com/calculator/Core_i7-1065G7/GeForce_RTX_2080_Ti/0TU12nlu/ He said he will ask someone and would be back in 2 or 3 minutes. After 2 or 3 minutes the chat simply ended without an answer. This was the
