Hey Razer, hopefully one the HWeng employees comes across this... What's the reasoning behind removing XMP in the newest v1.08 BIOS update? Undervolting was removed with BIOS v1.03 and not brought back in 1.04, 1.06 or 1.08. And now in 1.08 we're also losing the ability to fully utilize our XMP memory sticks we paid extra for that have been running perfectly stable? I feel like there's a large disconnect between your consumers and hardware engineers. Is there any actual reasoning behind it? It surely can't be just those Crucial Ballistix DIMMs running at out-of-your-spec 1.35V. I inspected the BIOS update and it's not just a feature toggle like it was with UV, someone actually went through and removed all overclocking-related EFI modules within the BIOS file (PeiOverClock, OverclockInterface, DxeOverClock, OverClockSmiHandler), along with crippling the OverClocking menus in BIOS Setup so that they can't be invoked anymore. I was thinking about buying a Razer Core X Chroma for my hp laptop, and i dont have a Thunderbolt 3 Port. I was wondering if i could buy a USB C femal adapter off of Amazon and put it in one of my Thumderbolt 2 ports?

I've already had to return 2 Razer Books to Amazon and am currently on my third one. This one is looking like it needs to be returned too because the BSOD problem is worse than ever. The device BSODS 10+ times a day, ranging from me doing nothing to playing games. Every time the error is different so I can't pin down what the triggeris. All drivers have been updated using the Intel Drive. Would really like to keep this device but it's pretty much unuseable at this point. Hello, I have a problem with my Razer Blade 15 2020, even without any program running in the background, my laptop is reaching quite high temperatures (around 70 degrees). I would like to try the undervolt in order to get better temperatures and better performance and no longer have this noisy fan in the background. Does anyone have any tips and tweaks for the Razer Blade 15 Advanced RTX 2080 Super Max-Q undervolt? I searched everywhere but could not find anything on the net for this specific laptop. thank you in advance.

Hi all, I've been pondering my first Razer laptop purchase whilst I wait for things to come back in stock. I'll be going for 17" laptop but not sure what screen to go for. I enjoy gaming but not high intensity FPS's or anything, more the RPG or strategy for me. I was thinking that 4k or at least UHD (2560x144) which I have on my current alienware) were the only real options as I don't think high Hz is too important for me and 1080p is too low. Am I correct or should I not be disregarding the 1080p? I will be going for either 3070 or 3080. Thanks! Alex

HI, So I have recently purchased a 2020 Razer Blade Stealth 13 120hz. The machine has i7-1065G7 with Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti I've pretty much got everything set up but I have a few general questions regarding the machine, Not sure if it's just me or an issue or something I can adjust and change. First one being the display, The display is nice but I just feel it doesn't get that bright, It feels like its dimmed and I can't find a way to get it brighter, I've tried everything possible to increase the brightness but it just doesn't seem comfortable, Secondly Razer Synapse 3 is very hit and miss, It won't start 95% of the time and if it does start i'm unable to click into lighting or performance I can literally just change the colours of the keyboard and that's it? Thirdly on the Nvidia Control Panel, I don't have any option to change any display settings, I only have the 3D settings on there and that is it? Is that normal? I have to change the display settings through Microsoft. Sorr

Hi, I just updated from BIOS 1.04 to 1.06 and suddenly the laptop is really noisy. Before this it was absolutely fine, with the fans only being noticable when an intensive load started.The fans are significant even just on the desktop and it's quite distracting. It was immedially noticable after the update... Is there any way to roll back to the previous bios or somehow resolve this? Any help would be appreciated

Hello everyone, I had the 2020 and now the 2021 and I figured it was just an issue with my unit or my install. What Happens: I don't have sleep enabled but when I go to close the lid, even for a second, and open it back up; synapse doesn't work. It also causes very high cpu usage which causes my laptop to go from 6w draw from idle to 12-15w! I have to kill the process to get it to stop. Restarting windows, fixes everything What doesn't work: brightness keys, keyboard brightness keys, can't open the app, fans tend to stay on longer than usual. What I've done: fresh install of windows, new laptop, fresh install of synapse. If I uninstall synapse, I miss out on the Boost feature of the GPU and CPU. Anybody else have this issue? it's super super annoying when using your laptop as a , well, laptop. Edit: I have the 3 event logs it generates every time it crashes. https://imgur.com/puRtXJY

Have purchased Razer Book 13 from Amazon, moved from Apple recently. I like this notebook but this has a huge problem. : 1. I am running the original Windows 10 from razer. 2. Can not install work profile (MDM) issues for Office 365. 3. Getting constant igxf (Intel Graphics drivers error) and different bsods. 4. Uninstalled Synapse, updated drives, windows, ran sfc, etc, everythng. 5. Reinstalled several times, Razer and non Razer images of windows. 6. Used, intel tests, mem test from windows, memtest 86, etc. everything passed 8. There is talk since 2018 of reducing the use of ram, we are in 2021, finally and planned an update? Or is there a way to reduce ram usage without losing performance of the Razer Synapse 3 ? in my humble opinion you could keep developing Razer Synapse 2, so I could use it for blackshark-v2

Hi there! So I recently purchased my first razer product, the 2021 razer blade 15 advanced edition with a 240hz QHD display. Everything works properly, except the screen refresh rate.... It's capped at 60hz. I've contacted razer but nothing is working and they havnt gotten back. The last thing they told me is to switch to integrated graphics in the razer synapse system tab, but I don't have that option available anywhere... Is this issue solvable? Can someone help? How do I increase my refresh rate?

Hello everyone, I am planning to buy my first ever Razer laptop in a short time and I have a question to anyone that already owns one. I will be getting the Razer Blade 15 and as much as I am excited about it I am terrified of scratches. Since it's matte black and with quite a lot of sharp edges I wanna ask how does the paint hold up after some time of use. Is the laptop easily scratched from basic use? Does paint on certain parts chip? It's a question that has been bugging me for some time and I'll be grateful to anyone that provides an answer. Thank you to anyone in advance :)

What about a laptop but with a creen where the keyboard is and a screen in the normal place? this would mean you could have a completely customisable keyboard and even a game menu. Just an idea but i thought it was cool.

Hello, I just purchased a razer blade advanced 2019 model with a Geforce 2070 maxq in it. I had a question in regards to the installation of nvidia drivers and have gotten mixed messages from googling it. From what I can tell you're not supposed to use nvidia.com or Geforce experience to update drivers like you would for a desktop graphics card, razer suggests on their website to update via windows. They also offer drivers on their website for my model however they are from 2019 and are the same version as what shipped with my laptop. When I've tried to launch a game on steam I've gotten warnings that my GPU drivers are very old, so far this hasn't actually stopped the game launching but I thought it odd. Geforce experience shipped installed on the laptop and does advise a new driver can be downloaded through there, is this something I should do? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've never actually purchased a nice laptop before and don't want to screw it up.

Hello, I bought a black widow keyboard. I installed Razer Synapse. I configure a lighting profil, with the static effect. Simple. But, when i close Razer Synapse, the keyboard come back on default effect. And color change everytime... I just want a simple color. Is it possible ?
