Hello all, my first post here and my first razer laptop (stealth 13 gtx 1650 model). I like everything about it and have had no issues other than the hinge. It may be my ocd, but it seems a bit too loose to me so I wanted to get other owners input to see if it's just mine or that's just how the laptop is. To be clear, the hinge itself isn't broken / moving and it opens and closes perfectly fine, but when you open it the screen vibrates a bit before settling in place. If the surface it's on is bumped even lightly, the screen vibrates a bit. If I'm typing with a bit of pressure, the screen will move / vibrate. It's not a lot, but enough to be annoying on such an expensive laptop. So, looking for any feedback from other owners. Thanks in advance.
Looking to get a Razer Blade 15 with optical keys, and was wondering if you can safely pop the keys off to rearrange them? I use Colemak instead of QWERTY and am trying to find a laptop lol
Hello folks, I am an active member of the Razer community, and I own a blade 15 early 2019 with a 2060 and 8750h. After looking at the size comparison between the razer blade 14 and the razer blade stealth 13 with the gtx 1650 max q. When looking at the performance of the individual components in the razer blade stealth, I am curious how the overall performance of the razer blade 14 with the 970m would compare. the gpu's are very close in performance benchmarks and the 1065G7 benchmarks similarly when given enough wattage. Have any of you had experience with both devices and can compare them? -freshRUBYPhlox526
Strange issue - I'm getting higher FPS on Fortnite via my External HDMI monitor versus when I run the game on the Razer laptop Panel. I've configured Fortnite to use the High-performance NVIDIA processor via the NVIDIA Control Panel (oddly enough, via Task Manager, I see the Intel UHD GPU is more highly utilized than the GeForce RTX 2080). Any ideas why an external monitor performs better? It's an old Hanns-G monitor, nothing special.
Why in the world do they insist on putting the RAM Module underneath the LED display connection? I had no idea that I had not reconnected the cord adequately when I upgraded my RAM, and sent it in because I thought there was a malfunction with my brand new laptop and now I have this admin account and my computer is not as clean as it was before.
So I've been doing benchmarks on a few games now and recently when I downloaded COD Warzone I have been experiencing low FPS, stutters and delay in-game even in low settings. I used MSI afterburner and noticed I have low MHz on my GPU even at a 90%+ usage as well as memory usage is only using up to 1kmb and IDK if the ram usage is ok as well as it is stuck at 7kmb I watched overclocking videos for GPUs but its not advisable to do it on laptops.. I also get stutters in other games sometimes like Dota 2, Apex and etc.
Hello, Is anybody with the GTX 1650 RBS able to play COD: Warzone? For me, my CPU usage is super high and the game crashes after about 5 minutes. Thanks!
Good morning, I hope this is the right thread for this post. Please excuse me if it is not. However, I am currently using the Razer Raptor Monitor (which I am loving by the way). I want to change it to 10 bit color. I have a 2080ti and I am connected via displayport. However, when I go into the Nvidia control panel it only has the option for 8 bit. I am up to date with all the newest drivers. Am I missing a step?
Doing literally nothing else not even running a browser. Just fresh restart, Synapse on, <1 week old laptop, High Performance setting on Power Settings and Synapse. 60-70° when playing oldschool runescape... is this what I should have expected?
I have a Razer Blade 14 2017 gtx 1060 I have a bunch of 4k screens that max out at 50Hz, so I want to run them at 4k50. My understanding is the HDMI 2.0 port can likely handle 1x 4k60, so it will do 4k50. The USB C / Thunderbolt 3 port can (with an adaptor) do 2x 4k60 so it will give me 2x 4k50. Cheapest way would be one of these, but could use a dock I suppose: https://www.amazon.com/SIIG-Thunderbolt-Dual-HDMI-Adapter/dp/B076132V2P/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=usb+c+dual+hdmi+4k60&qid=1583833194&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFNMjBSUEVPOEtNWUEmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA2MDQzMjczTEk1Sk1LTFJCVlVFJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA2Mjk1NzI5RUdUSUNSSlVIQUomd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl Is there anyway to squeeze out one more 4k50? This would give me 2@ 50 + 1 @ 30 I believe, however that would rely on some display port to HDMI adaptors as well: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Monitor-Docking-Station-DisplayPort/dp/B07LGR8Y14?th=1 There
Hi guys, new the Razer community. I'm here because i recently decided to upgrade my SSD to a 1TB NVME since i needed more space on my laptop. Anyways I had to install a clean version on Windows 10 and i noticed that the screen calibration was way off compared to how it was originally. I contacted support and they didn't seem to be of any help. They mentioned to just go through the windows calibration wizard, leaving the the screen to be alot worse. So I'm here if anyone could help at least getting the calibration the laptop came with originally. I would want to thank anyone in advance for any help
Hey everyone! So im a college student and im seeing myself spend more and more time on campus. I recently purchased a blade just so i can play some of my games on the go. my set up consists of a 2013 death-adder which i might replace with my chroma one, a pair of cheap earbuds, and thats really it. what do you all recommend for a on the go razer gear? what kind of mice work best? should i use a mouse pad too? what about headphones? Ive been thinking of the hammer heads but id like some more opinions on the product. if you recommend anything i would be very appreciative. i just need some advice of what to get to kinda make my experience a little better.
Anyone getting it to work please post your specs and fixes. I'm on the latest Windows 10, Nvidia desktop drivers, Oculus software as of March 6th. Using the JOTO USB C to USB A 10ft cable. The only working USB A port is the one next to the USB C one. It detects the Quest correctly however it freezes a few moments after enabling Link on the headset.
Hi, I am thinking to get a razer blade stealth 13 with i7-1065G7 and maybe a dedicated nvidia GPU. To safe some bucks and batter life I am looking only into the FHD version. After reading some reviews the following statement struck me: the version without dedicated gpu can power the cpu with 25w, whereas the version with dedicated gpu limits the cpu to 15w, no matter of the gpu is active or not. See for example
All of the other models of the RBS have a more complete list of drivers available than the GTX model. Are (e.g.) the late 2019 Mercury White RBS drivers (specifically the TB3 drivers/firmware) compatible? I am having crazy problems with 2 identical GTX RBS late 2019 models and Core X Chromas. I had very similar issues 4 years ago with my Dell Precision 5510 Quadro and the TB16 dock and it was eventually corrected with a firmware update that actually worked. Support acts like it is a unknown issue - offered to replace my Chromas (which is fine - but if two identical setups have the same issue it begs the question that it is more than hardware related). Anyone have any ideas?
Hey guys, last year we had a thread about what we want to see in the upcoming Razer Blade. Maybe we can start a thread like this again, maybe Razer will hear us ;) So let's get started. For the upcoming Razer Blade 15" in 2020 i would like to see: - RTX 30XX Max-Q - AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPU's - More configuration options for Germany (Mercury White with the RTX 3070 and just 256GB SSD, switching the SSD anyway) - Maybe a little more cooling - Maybe a little more battery power I'm really looking forward to the new GPU Generation and the Razer Blade coming up with it. This year i will get a new Laptop and at the moment the Razer Blade is my favourit. So it's more like a wishlist for me ;) So what do you guys want to get in the new Razer Blade?
Any news on either 2019 restocks or 2020 model releases?
As the title suggest. I have a Razer Blade Stealth that got a cracked lcd and the touch screen is now giving me issues. I would need replaced or know who sells these that I can get one asap to replace. I can do it myself. Anyone know any retailers with these for a resonable cost? I have the Rz09-01962E10
Hi Everyone, I have just bought a new Razer 13 with GTX1650 and I am looking for a TB3 dock that would power the laptop and connect to a 27" FHD Screen. Can anyone recommend an option with a good quality/price ratio? Thanks in advance!
I think I'm about ready to make the investment. Biggest question is 15 or 17 inch. I would prefer the enhanced portability of the 15, but at the same time I'd appreciate the extra screen size of the 17. Those two concerns are probably give the 15 a slight edge. But here's the kicker. My current 15 inch gaming laptop gets super hot, like 100 degrees Celsius. I'm fairly certain its performance is adversely affected. Can anyone tell me how much cooler the 17 would run than the 15. Also any other thoughts on one vs the other? And finally are the 2020 models likely to be released in the next couple months? Thanks all!
Been troubleshooting this for a while. I have a Razer 9750h 2080. Often times I game on battery as I have no available outlet, or I am at work and in my work vehicle. I understand the speed difference between adapter and battery, that's not my point. I briefly owned a Stealth with 1650. When a game running at 1080p was a bit slow, dropping the resolution from 1080p to 720p would produce a massive frame rate boost. Makes sense, dropping that resolution literally cuts the image being rendered by half. I preferred speed and lack of jitteriness to sharpness. Cut to the 2080 Max q. The exact opposite happens. When I am on battery, I drop the frame rate from 1080p to 720p. Rather than the frame rate increasing, instead the system does something interesting. It drops the power usage of the system so the laptop runs at the EXACT frame rate. For instance, I'm averaging 35-42fps on Sekiro, 1080p, medium settings, battery mode. If I drop the resolution to 720p, you'd expect at least a solid 60
Hey guys, I recently got a 2019 Razer blade stealth and my touchpad has been pretty inconsistent and weird. Clicking and dragging is a pain as a lot of the time, the mouse stops moving when my thumb is resting near the bottom of the pad and I have to lift my pointer finger constantly to get it to move again. And this is with two-finger gesters turned off. When they were turned on, things were worse. Things would zoom in and out and I would accidentally scroll, etc. Working with one finger works perfectly fine. It's just when I'm doing things that require a heavy amount of clicking and dragging and when I feel like resting my thumb on the touchpad that things get frustrating. This seems like a software thing, but I could be wrong. Anyone else dealing with this/has solutions. PS, I've tried the uninstalling and reinstalling drivers thing and things haven't gotten much better.
Hello, Looking for a docking station for a 2 monitor setup (Display Port), that preferably also has an ethernet port and extra thunderbolt that is compatible with Razer Blade Advanced (Mid-2019) . Recently purchased one from Amazon(TOTU), which didn't work, now looking for options. I know the Lenovo could potentially work based on other posts, but would like to see what other options are out there that might work. Thanks in advance! JF
I wanted to ask tips and suggestions to anyone with a similar build or specs, what settings are you guys using in Throttlestop? My CPU temp limit is at 100c but I'm not really comfortable with my temps going over 90c every time I play intense games like Apex, Witcher 3, Dota 2 and etc. Specs: i7-8750H Geforce RTX 2060 (6GB) 16GB RAM I have watched a several undervolting videos which were really helpful as well but applying those still didn't really help me achieving low temps. Below are my throttlestop settings.
As much as I appreciate the durability of the braided cable with the 100W power brick, I'd like to find something a little more portable and easy to coil up. Optimistically, I've backed one of the 100W HyperJuice chargers on Kickstarter and am also considering trying Apple's new 96W adapter (late-2019 MacBook Pro 16"). Has anyone else had any success with alternative ~100W chargers?
