Hello Insiders! Once again, the time has come for Gamescon. In case you may not know, Gamescon is an annual event that has been held every August since 2009 in Cologne, Germany. Gamescon is one of the biggest gaming related expos annually, packed full of announcements about upcoming games, updates, technology and much more!. So far this year we have received the story trailer for Gears 5 from Microsoft, the 6th installment in the Gears of War series, several RTX related announcements from NVIDIA and partners, including Ray Tracing support for Minecraft and Dying Light 2, along with EA releasing the gameplay trailer for Need For Speed Heat, the 24th installment of the Need for Speed series. Those are just skimming the top of this year's announcements thus far at Gamescon. Personally, I am excited for Need for Speed Heat, I am a big fan of racing games and I cannot wait to customize and play around with new vehicles. So, now I want to know your thoughts. Are there any new games or p
Last August of 2018, I bought myself the Hammerhead Pro V2's. I loved how they looked. They're aesthetically pleasing. Sound quality is amazing, especially if you're more of an EDM, pop, etc. person. Unfortunately, I'm more of a rock, metal, punk rock person and this pair could do better with the highs, but it's not too bad. Within 3 days, the left side would occasionally stop working, I thought it had something to do with my phone, I tried it on a different phone and the problem persisted, day 5 and the left ear piece stopped working altogether. I immediately went to the store I bought it from and asked for a replacement. They happily obliged as it was still within the 7 day replacement warranty they have, albeit it took them 3 months to replace it cuz they still sent it to their supplier to see if it really was a factory defect or not. Finally it was November, my replacement finally arrived and I couldn't be happier! Everything was great until July of this year, that's about 9mo. un
Hi guys! I know my question is a bit odd, Razer is all about lights and switching them however, to be honest, I'd just love to keep a single color on my keyboard. I had the software installed but I work a lot with the Adobe products and even if my system is fast I don't like to keep on it stuff that are not necessary for my work. So, is there any way to keep the light from changing into all the rainbow's colors? Again, without having to reinstall the software. Thanks
Simple idea. I would love to see Razer revisit/redesign the Chroma Base Station to include Qi wireless charging in the base for phones. The unit already gives gamers a dedicated home for their headsets that also looks great. It'd be fantastic if it also provided a home to set your phone while gaming that also charges it.
Hey Insiders, A gamer isn't a gamer without games. And often times, a gamer is only as good as the hardware they're playing on. I was first introduced to Razer when i was 14. Recently, however, i have finally built my own NZXT Razer case battlestation after a long year of saving, and overtime. Made my own desk and everything. But when i bought the Chroma development kit, i wondered, can we get an extended version of this? They are very nice LED's, and as much as everyone says they are overpriced, the control one can have over them is wonderful, and i would love to see that in the back of my desk while playing.
What do you guys think about it? I personally really dont like that its not 4K because nowadays its just standard with the new consoles coming out soon and all the strong graphics cards right now. It would be the perfect monitor if it was 4K and would stay at the same price point. I think it should come out this fall but if not maybe they work on it more and add the 4K display that would be pretty cool!
Reggie droppin' knowledge. This isn't a political statement. This is a fact check. Our industry is being attacked and is being used as a political instrument to misdirect the political agendas of people in power. Due to the sensitive nature of this thread, please keep your comments in-line with the House Rules and be kind to each other. There will be zero tolerance for any aggression or attack toward others. Let's show some civil discourse, Insiders! Don't make me regret leaving this thread open 😓
Hello! Has anyone heard or have been requesting support of Razer Synapse supporting Aorus motherboards and other hardware for RGB sync. I have a bunch of Razer products and that is the missing link with my setup! Or can anyone point me in the direction of a third party software to bridge the RGB connections/profiles? Thanks in advance for the response/responses!
Hi, I am currently running the following peripherals: Razer Naga Chroma, Blackwidow Chroma V2 and an Orbweaver Chroma. Tomorrow I am going to be getting both Razer Nommo Chroma and a Goliathus Chroma. Stupidly, before I purchased them I did not think about the additional USB slots that would be needed so I am currently looking for a USB hub that might be able to run all the peripherals together or at least the majority of them. Would any particular USB hubs be better? Or would they all work for this purpose? I am just a bit concerned about the amount that I would be running from it. Because of this, I have been looking at the more expensive powered hubs. These are the two I was looking at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SuperSpeed-Transmission-Charging-Powered-Extension/dp/B01FS9Q01K/ref=sr_1_4?qid=1564429317&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_browse-bin%3A1028263031&s=computers&sr=1-4 https://www.amazon.co.uk/ORICO-Powered-12-Port-Charging-Adapter/dp/B00K5TKFH4/ref=sr_1_13?qid=1564429317&r
Hello. I am a teacher and I was just thinking about wondering what we can do with using Razer hardware for education. I know this computer has a lot for gaming but I do want to know what can Razer do to expound on to expand into more education with computer programming and video game design being a lot more prevalent with the younger generation of students that I am teaching. I am researching all this within Razer's current features from what they have provided within their website for development etc.
