Does your 2017 Razer Blade 14" register both touchpad buttons at the same time?

Is anyone else experiencing this? I can't get a straight answer from support.

Here's what's going on... I hold right-click. While still holding right-click, I press the left mouse button. Immediately when I do, the computer acts like I've taken my finger off of the right mouse button, which I haven't. The same thing happens with the buttons swapped (holding left, then clicking right).

This happens no matter what game/program I'm using. I don't have an external mouse plugged in.

So far, I've reinstalled touchpad drivers, synapse, and have done a system restore. Even tried using the generic windows touchpad drivers (not synaptic drivers). No luck.

My 2014 Blade 14" didn't have this issue.

You can use https://www.passmark.com/products/keytest.htm to check if yours is doing the same thing.

I really just want to know if this is functioning as designed, or if I need to RMA this thing. I've only had this one for a few days now, and noticed it as soon as I fired up my first game to test it out.

What’s problem by that? I think mine also so, you mean right click hold and then left click, made as you are releasing your finger from right click? I’m using precision driver (tweaked one), and using mouse not its trackpad when gaming.

    That's exactly what I mean.

It makes it so if I forget to bring my mouse, or don't have space to use one, I can't play games like Rainbow Six: Siege with the touchpad. Aiming down sights is done by holding right-click. Every time I click to shoot, it stops aiming and shoots from the hip. Same thing with MMO's. Can't run forward in WoW or Final Fantasy 14 by holding both mouse buttons down.

I know I shouldn't be playing games with the touchpad, but sometimes I don't really have a choice. I played like that a good bit on my 2014 Blade 14".

I think you’re still on precision driver, like my Blade 14. Try to install the driver from Razer on their site (for synaptic). I have stealth that still running synaptic and I think recently I played Fortnite without mouse (using the trackpad) normally.

I'm on the Synaptics drivers. I never did the Precision Driver install.

The stealth might not have this issue.

I see, I’m not good and comfortable playing with trackpad so I always bring compact mouse like Orochi and Atheris, so i didn’t recognize it till recently user reported that after precision tweak the keyboard and trackpad can’t work at the same time, I thought before that it can. Yes I remember playing games without mouse on my old Blade 2015 but on 14 2017 since I have stealth I don’t bring the 14 outside. Maybe I’ll try sometime deleting the precision and using original synaptic one.
