    Hi guys,

My parents bought me a Razer Blade 2018 as a going away gift in June. I'm Australian and the laptop was purchased in Australia (from just before I moved to Germany for a new job.

When we bought the laptop I noticed one of the fans never spun but didn't think much of it since it didn't overheat when browsing etc. I figured it might only switch on both when under heavy load.

However this week I've tried to start gaming on it and even the most basic titles at medium resolutions are making the CPU hit 90-100 degrees C constantly, and the GPU sits in the high 90s. Same thing happens with simple projects in Adobe Premiere. The whole laptop is painfully hot to the touch, including the wrist rest, touch pad and keyboard area.

Figured something was wrong so I had another look and it looks like that second fan is dead- it never spins at all. I'm also concerned that the DOA cooling may have lead to some other heat related damage too. I was only using the laptop for a day before I realised the fault but it was still running under load for a fair while.

Does anyone know how the international warranty works? The address on the invoice is my place in Australia but I'm now living in Berlin, Germany. So I need to send it from / get it returned to here for the warranty repair.

Hello! The Blade will still be covered by the warranty and you can have it serviced where you are currently based (i.e in Germany). Send me a PM with the serial number of your Blade 15 as well as the link to this post so I can help kickstart a case for you.
