    Hello everyone,

Just wanted to post this; been looking around in the forums and haven't been able to find an answer:

Let's say I had enough zSilver to redeem the Razer Ornata Chroma, the Razer Lancehead and one of the mousepads (forgot the name, think it was a Goliath something), would I have to pay collective shipping for everything, only for the products that cost less than the amount to get free shipping, or would I not need to pay anything for shipping/tax as my collective order is worth more than the amount needed to get free shipping?

Or, let's say I just wanted to redeem the keyboard, which itself grants free shipping for its price, would I need to pay for the shipping as I'm technically getting it for free, or would I not need to pay as its price is higher?

Just wanted some clarification, thanks for any answers.

Sorry if this sounded a bit confusing!

I got this information from another member PTSinger:

"An order made with zSilver still goes through the Razer Online Store. There, you can only input a single code at a time. This makes it impossible to lump smaller zSilver orders together, because each ITEM has its own redemption code.

And if you decide to get a larger item with actual money, in order to cover the shipping costs of your zSilver item, and if your purchased item also has an advertised bundle that uses a code ... then you won't be able to put in your code for the zSilver item.

Only 1 item per order. That's the plain and simple of it.

My advice: wait with the zSilver and use it for a big ticket item, and pair that with something that will cover shipping in your area - and make sure that whatever you buy doesn't come in a bundle that takes a code.

Either that, or buy a lot of small ticket items (the cap, etc.) that add up to get free shipping, and get your large zSilver item for free."

    Hope it helps.

    Ah ok.
So basically, you have to actually BUY stuff to get free shipping right?

Ya, that's pretty much the long and short of it. And if you get the free item, the shipping is on you.

No need for thanks, I was just using PT singers information. I just didn't want you to have to deal with a troll / trouble maker like I did when I was curious about shipping.

So you would have to say I redeemed the mouse bungee with zsilver and another item with zsilver I can't just put it in the same baset and pay for shipping on both I would have to put them in seperate baskets then? Or I could just buy a razer blackwidow and attach my mouse bungee on it and not have to pay for anything on the mouse bungee.

Correct about everything you've just written.

The zSilver rewards require a promo code to get them for free - you can only use ONE promo code per transaction on the Razer Store.

If you want to add something to the card to get you to the free shipping point, then you can so long as that item or bundle does not have a promo code of it's own. So, basically, if you pick an item over $49 in the US and pay full price then you'll get the free shipping, can add in your zSilver code and get both the free zSilver item and the other item with the free shipping. Because that will still only be using one promo code on the order.

So, if you have more than one zSilver item you wish to obtain then you can get those in separate orders and pay shipping on all of them, or you can add regular priced items into the carts along with them, again all in separate orders, and then get the free shipping on everything.

Nobody replied about the taxes, so thought I would. From my recent experience with redeeming zSilver, you should expect to pay taxes based on the full retail price of the item, before the voucher makes the item price zero.

The rest of the info above about shipping and promo/voucher restriction to one seems correct.

As a person living outside US, sadly none of my friends in US are coming anytime soon. So if I were to redeem something I will have to pay for US tax, US shipping, and the guy (third party agent) who will ship it to my country for me which will add up "5% of item price + weight-based shipping price (which is ~$10 for earphone, ~$30 for keyboard etc) more" to get it here.

Shipping it legally through post or whatever will only make things worse. Sometime goods stolen if the officials know what it is inside the box.
This is why we need Razer to go worldwide.

Everyone in here: You're wrong. I tried to purchase the keyboard rest (26000 zsilver) and added $100 worth of items to the cart, yet I didn't get free shipping. Regardless of the value of the items present in the cart, free shipping wouldn't be available when the zsilver voucher was added. I contacted the support team and they replied with this:

"We would like to inform you that as verified with our Promotions team, terms and conditions of the zSilver voucher is only the free item can be redeemed and that the customer has to pay for shipping. When using the voucher provided by zVault, shipping charges are always applied regardless of the value present in the cart."

This is just a small PSA, for those wondering.

This is interesting - because I know there are people here who have put items in the cart and made use of the free shipping. I'm now wondering if it's a location/store thing, or something else entirely.

Guess I didn't read every post here, but I thought the consensus already was that shipping is NOT free with zSilver redemption items.
Seems like mixed results with adding on full priced items. Must most likely depend on location/region as some have said.

I'm in Canada, maybe it only works for the USA or something...

The main info I collected is, by redeeming something with zSilver, you get a "coupon code" to add to a real order on razerstore that adds a free thing on your order, Right? So it is possible to order only one thing at a time using zSilver.
    Am I Right?

Yes - if you only want the one item with zSilver then by all means use the code to add it to your cart. :)
You will then be charged the shipping fee and applicable taxes and your item will then be on it's way to you. The only reason all this is even a discussion here is for the folks who are trying to avoid the shipping fees by adding another item into the cart. But the simple answer is just "yes" - if the only thing you want is your zSIlver item, then that's the only thing you need to get. :)
