Whats your opinion on all the rumours and latest news about the game being buggy and overall delay situation. I am still hyped about the game, although I heard the story is only 20 hours long.

    Hello WolfK.

You should join my Cyberpunk 2077 topic.
You have to bring the discussions together in one place. :)

To answer you regarding the 20 hour lifespan for the game, this is not correct, because you have three different starts that last 6 hours on average + all the different choices in the plot, 5 different ways to solve each quests, the lifespan is mostly focus in the side quests that influence the story.

This is not a game for speedrun.
We are not in a simple FPS where there are stupid NPCs who only serve as targets.
We are in an RPG, you can interact with the NPCs, talk to them, discover their life, their stories, their worries, their needs for affection.

A game that lets you live in 2077, a dark and violent time, but so exciting.

There is a reporter who has over 179 hours of play and is far from done.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a complex game, patchday one is 40 GB patch.
CD Projekt Red is known for its excellent after sales service.
I know some people who will wait a bit for the game to be good patch, it's up to you.
Personally, I play it dayone, I have been waiting for 7 years, I can't resist anymore, even if there are some bugs.

It's "normal" for such young game, these days. I'm hyped for this game, but I'll buy it after few months, when most annoying bugs would be fixed.

On the other side just look at Borderlands 3 - it has been released more than year ago - and it's still bugged AF, sometimes it's unplayable. Hope, that CP2077 won't be as Borderlands 3.

I'm getting about 7fps on my Razer Blade 15 with GTX1070. That's in 1920x1080 with low settings.

People with desktop GTX1070 setups are getting ~40fps on medium so I'm inclined to think it's not the GPU at fault. The framerate can climb up that high for simple scenes, but dives back down as soon as a person comes into view.

Supporting what @FiszPL said and to top it off, i am sure the CDPR team will hear the reviews and feedback from the gamers in all the platforms and get the bugs fixed and might improve the gameplay. Similar to what they did with Witcher 3, i remember Witcher 3 was a bug fest when it released first and now its a beautiful game with all the adjustments from the dev teams.

    Hello friends,

    I completely agree with you.

    Hello luxhibernia,

The large number of NPCs in game also has an impact on your CPU.
But I'll try to save you some fps.

Do you have a GOG version ? Because it is only DRM free version.
Steam and Epic game versions slow down games with DRM and their clients for nothing.
Did you choose to install Cyberpunk 2077 without gog galaxy?
Because Cloud backup is overloaded and this causes synchronization problems.
I recommend doing download manually and an offline installation without the cloud backup.

Have you updated Geforce driver version 460.79 on 12/09/2020 ?
Have you deactivated Ray Tracing software mode ?
Because it's just to test on GTX graphics cards and to advertise it for RTX cards.
Ray tracing software emulation does not have DLSS and is intentionally not to optimize. So very very bad fps.

Have you closed all other applications, activated windows game mode, deactivated streaming and capture, picture mode of Geforce Experience?

Did you activate performance mode in game ? It appears after installing dayone patch.

I know this won't help much, but it will be to wait while waiting for another fix.

Unfortunately, I have no download or performance problem.
My GOG key has been revoked, I bought it from Kinguin website, I am waiting for a refund or a new key. -_-

Just like how rtx 3000 series had issues when clocked at 2 GHz, nvidia software development have resolved this issue by delivering new updates.

Software developers know their initial product launch will face variety of minor to major setbacks; so they analyze the details thoroughly, re-develop their coding and deliver regular updates to improve both quality and performance of the game.

Warcraft III Reforged initial launch was a DISASTER.
The feedback and review from gamers show huge disappointment, but BLIZZARD was able to crawl back on its feet by improving some features that the gamers want.

I believe CyberPunk 2077 software developers will do the same.

Because they want that "thumbs up" from gamers and enjoy the product.

RAZER is also accounted for; to continue develop their products of both hardware (keyboard, mouse, etc) and software (cortex, synapse, etc) for gamers to have sensational gaming experience.
