Not sure how they could be overwhelmed with online orders when the product has never been an option to order? I doubt Tech Support is going to be in the position to respond to this as it really is a Product/Operations issue. The Product team needs to respond with estimated availability dates. If you are in business to sell a product, and your website is the only way to order said product, I doubt that the Product Team would allow the website to be the problem with selling your product for more than a few hours.....

All also note that I have given up waiting and instead ordered the Gigabyte Aero 15x 4K with 4 TB of SSD (2x2 TB) and 32 GB of Ram. The only thing it is missing is Touch 4K, and I did not really need a touch screen...

Just ran Rise of the Tomb Raider and looks amazing! Played it with max settings IN LAP, no problem. Yes, lots of fan noise, hot, etc., but isn't that expected?? First time playing this game and really fun and visually just over the top.

Has anyone played the new Windows release of FF XV on this? Is the game worth playing regardless? I haven't played FF since the very early days, so I don't know how it relates.

Although I love thin bezels I kinda preferred old "MacBook Pro" design... It looked like MBP's evil twin brother 3:)

Yes it’s great game, story, Graphics and gameplay Kind new fighting style on FF series (which I don’t like;)) as Assassin Creed and god of war type fighting style Fan. With Blade 15 1070, i get around 70fps 1080p high setting, could down to around 60 or jump to 80ish depends the scenes like fighting, town etc.
Yes if MacBook marry xps than this will be born;)
  6. It was order support from my previous order of the 144 variant and the (multiple) incorrect dates supposedly came from the other group as that rep mentioned they were checking with them on previous occasions.

Either way, this is two months of misses - seems they need a little less Chief Gaming Officer and a little more "I actually know how to build and execute a supply chain and make dates" officer.

Just noticed that they have removed the 4k model from the Razer Blade 15 comparison of models. This leads me to believe they will not be releasing the 4k UHD model anytime soon (this year?). I know this probably does not really concern Gamers, since the 144hz display is what you want, but for us that wanted to use it for professional purposes this is a drag.

It’s still there on Germany store, and reseller here stated at the end of this month...well if it’s true. I hope some staff will make a statement here or anywhere there, since I see a lot of poeple are asking or making threads about that.

4k is for visual professionals (photography) and I agree, not necessarily for Gamers, so 60Hz is fine. To achieve 120Hz with 4k I believe you needs some serious GPU power above the GTX 1070's capability and perhaps needing dual-GPU's.

If that's the case then would 1440p 90Hz be difficult for current generation GPU to handle games with? I just really want a glossy screen with a higher than 60Hz refresh rate since I find it more beautiful to look at. Would be amazing for playing role-playing games as opposed to first-person shooters since glossy displays are better in capturing a game's aesthetics over mechanics and dynamics.

Speaking of which, the GeForce GTX 11 series should be around the corner. I'm hoping Razer can release this around the same time other competitors release theirs.

The Razer Blade 15 can certainly handle 1080p @ 144Hz no problem. Now can the 144Hz model run 1440 @ 90Hz, I do not know.... But, for a laptop to run 4K UHD at 120Hz I believe you will need a laptop that has dual-GPU cards that are SLI or a fairly high-end GPU (Full 1080 NVida for example). I think MSI and ASUS have models that have this capability (at 17 inches, not 15) utilizing NVidia GTX 1080. Just want to make sure people reading this do not confuse the different models (Razer Blades 1080p 60Hz and 1080p 144Hz vs. 4k), they have different pixel counts (1920x1080 vs 3840x2160). Pixel density is going to be the problem to run higher than 60Hz for the 4K model. For gaming I will use my external eGPU to a 144Hz monitor. I do not like gaming on laptop screens regardless of the refresh rates, or pixel counts :)

I am thinking of buying the new Razer Blade 15. But before making the order I would like to know some details about the computer and the shipping.

    1. Do anybody know where the computer will be shipped from? - I live in Denmark, and would buy from the EU-store.. but if they send the computer from US, there would be an enormous tax/fee for import.

    2. I can see that the Razer bought from the EU store is with "Nordic Layout only"... but i cant find a image or any description of how this layout is...Do any of you guys have a picture of the layout?

I had Nordic Blade 14 2015, and now german layout Blade 15. I don’t really know actually how it’ll be on Blade 15, but the function key won’t be light on like old Blade, it’s already so since 2016. On Blade 15 there’s also arrow keys place changing that I have to getting used to on typing. Here the comparison, hope with that you can imagine how it’ll be.

This is all fair and good, but who's the target audience? The only people I can imagine buying one of these are college students and there's no way they'd afford them without any high-interest financing options.
