newly purchased razer deathadder chroma, suspicious fake

    so I have just received this new deathadder chroma.
    the thing is its picked up by razer synapse just fine and the s/n for warranty registration was valid.
    but I noticed that compared to the package on razer's website where iNcontroL's recommendation is on top and KennyS's is just under it, at the package I received iNcontrol's recommendation is at the buttom under Doublelift's.
    are there two different packages? or is it just a fake?

    any help to confirm whether it's a fake or not, would be appericiated, thanks.

    That is weird. Where did you buy it from? I'm sure that if you got it from Razer or a Razer Store you're good, but if this was from eBay or something like that, it might warrant some additional investigation.

    It's okay, Razer may change up product packaging every so often.

    I have a DA Chroma box that looks exactly like yours.

    One of the best ways to inspect the mouse is to see if Synapse recognizes the hardware when you plug it in. If everything is recognized, runs smooth and looks fine aesthetically, you probably just have some older packaging like Lafar stated.

    any confirmed way to make sure razer provides deathadder with this package as well?
    as I have just received it I am eligible to open a refund claim on paypal should the item really be a counterfeit
    please guys help me on this thanks ^^

    yes I bought it on eBay since razer doesn't ship to Israel, that is why I am being extra cautious right now as I can still open a claim should the mice really be a counterfeit.

    did you try registering it with snyapse?

    As I said, the mice is detected by Razer Synapse and
    I made the warranty registration through synapse, the S/N was valid, but the packaging is different than what is demonstrated on razer's website so I was a little suspicious.

    Try register the serial number for warranty. If it doesn't work, it's a fake

    As long as the S/N is valid, you are in good hand. BTW, welcome to Chroma!

    Once Razer Synapse recognises it you should be safe. The packaging for Orbweaver Chroma Stealth that i received was different from what i have seen in those review videos. I guess it's just the way how the company works...changing packaging once in a while. Gratz on your new Razer gear btw.

    If you are not sure if its a real , send a email to Razer support with the S/N number. They will help you to verify it.

    If the registration worked on Synapse its more likely to be a real one

    register tne S/N in synapse :)

    If you can successfully link the Razer to Synapse then it most likely are genuine. Any problem you can send a ticket to Razer support since they reply quite fast.
