  1. Hello my fellow Razer users,

I bought a Razer Blade Late 2016 w/GTX 1060 about 2 months ago and I can't describe how happy I am with it.

I know that the HDMI port on the Blade supports HDMI 2.0 that would connect perfectly to my Benq XL2430T wich also supports HDMI 2.0 @ 120 Hz.

I have been trying to figure out how to set the resolution to 1920x1080@120Hz. So far I have only been able to set it @60Hz. The only way for me to get 120 Hz is if I change the resolution on the "PC" resolution to 1440x900@120Hz.

Is there any hidden option to set this up or is it at all possible to do? Should be right?

I tried to disable all audio output through the HDMI signal and so far no success.

    Any ideas?

    Hello !

First of all - I'm using a Benq XL2735 with my Blade FHD 1060/Skylake.
It runs @1440p/144Hz without any problems.

But I have disabled the Blade Display, only the Benq is running.

I dont know how u have to configure both displays to make it run simultaneously.
As far as I know, the Blade has 60Hz, so you cant run in mirror mode with different
refresh rates. Expanded mode should work.
  3. When I try to plugin to my XL2430T I always turn off my Blade Screen ( even though that shouldn't be an issue in case I just want to extend my desktop ). I read somewhere that you can also use Thunderbolt 3 to connect to a screen as display port. There was someone on te community that did it with no issues and performing well.

But since you are able to make it work can you tell me how you did it or was it just plug and play for you ?
