    Good Day,
I have the Razer Blade Stealth 2016 V2 with the i7-7500U CPU, 8 gigs Ram and a 128 ssd. The time has come where I finally need more space on my laptop. I would like to upgrade my ssd. I would like any assistance on what ssd I should buy exactly. I am looking for maybe a 500 gig or 1 TB ssd to upgrade to. I know I saw some posts on the Forums about this before and I've been searching but can't seem to find back the posts. I know there was a debate about the Samsung 960 Evo ssd and the 970 Pro ssd. I think one works but doesnt give you the read/write speed and I think one is not compatible. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and eve maybe a link with the correct ssd that I should buy.

Also, Maybe some after help on how I should go about maybe making an image of this machine to copy to the new sdd or would I have to do a full reinstall of windows etc on my new sdd.

Any M.2 PCIe SSD (M-Key, 2280) is compatible, including the 960 and 970 EVO/Pro. I would not worry regarding RW speeds, anything is faster than the OEM SSDs, that are being shipped with notebooks.

To create a full system image in windows, open control panel, then go to "System & Security" - "File History". On the lower left menu, you should see the option "System Image Backup".

You will need an external HD for that with at least 128GB capacity. To recover from that image, you also need to create a bootable windows recovery or installation media (USB stick).

Great. Thanks a lot!! Going to order one now cause I'm pretty annoyed having only 20 gigs free and no space for my software
