Hey everyone, this is my first post and I'd like to start it off with something that I've been wondering for a while now being a razer deathstalker chroma owner...

Are there any plans to create software updates for the Deathstalker Chroma so that the lighting effects are on par with the Blackwidow Chroma? Is this even possible? Are there things on the way and when can we expect them?

    Thanks,

    Bryce

It's not possible. DeathStalker "logic" is designed to display individual color per zone (QWERTY zone, "arrow" zone & numpad zone), so it's not possible to have individual key backlight like on BlackWidow keyboards. So you can't do this via software, it's a HW design level.

Like FiszPL already pointed out, the Deathstalker Chroma works with zones instead of per-key-illumination. It's only running 6 different zones that can be controlled.
So there is no way that you will be able to "fix" this with a software update.
Also keeping in mind that the DeathStalker is now pretty old and not even listed on the Chroma-API-page anymore, I highly doubted that Razer is still investing time on improving the DeathStalker.
