    Hi guys,

I guess I'll be using this post to do a quick introduction about myself. I am Hung Wei, or HW in short (@Razer|Technokat) and I have been around the Razer Community Team for around 3 years. If you have been following Razer on Facebook, Twitter or Youtube, you probably would have interacted with me before and I am really glad to have you guys in such an awesome community.

I enjoy a wide variety of games, I buy more games than I have time to play all of them and I love to keep up to date with game developments. So feel free to talk games to me.

Now to the purpose of this thread - you may have seen in several posts that Razer Insider is a work in progress. We have many things planned for Razer Insider to make it the best community channel it can be. There will be frequent changes, from simple quality of life tweaks to adding in your typical forum-y stuff (like reputation to advanced functionalities). We hope to keep a list here and keep you guys informed of what is coming and what have changed.

I'll be around to listen to you guys. If you have any feedback or suggestions you know where to find me.

    10/10/2014 - What's being worked on:
    • Hash-tagging
    • A reputation system
    • Badges and achievements
    • Quality of life improvements
    • Advanced Razer ID intergration - (Note, if you've not have a Razer ID. I'd really recommend signing up for one: www.razerzone.com/razer-id)
    10/24/2014 - What's being worked on: (We're 2 weeks old, yay!)
    • Completed hash-tagging, name tagging
    • Decided to remove quality of life improvement because it is a redundant update (we're always listening and this is a continuous task)
11/12/2014 - What's being worked on: (Been busy!)
    • Done: Better visual cues for Like/Share and Alerts
    • Reputation and achievements system
    • Less obtrusive thread/post tracking
    • Advanced Razer ID integration, including user role identification - (this ought to be ready early November)
    • Perks for being on Insider (you know it.)
    • Better synergy with our existing social media channels (i.e. better established metatags)

I do have a question though, will this be integrated with either comms or the cortex so that you have a desktop client that you can check in on the threads from there?

That is certainly an idea and we'll look into it - we've got a list to go through so thanks for the input!

LilHansel gave a great idea and I think it should be an added feature.

Also, quoting should be another option here in the forums as well as themes. The white theme is quite nice and all but It'd be nice to have an option to get a classic black/green look.

Posting on the phone is really not well optomized. All the formatting buttons are on their own line, and you have to scroll far to see what your typing.

Yeah - it's a bit tricky cause of the varying screen sizes but that's what we're working on right now :)

That would be very cool, also, less conspicuous when I'm watching it rather than paying attention to work :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Along those same lines, perhaps if there's an app developed then it could work with the Nabu as well.

Well if it can send notifications then you just need to set those to go to the Nabu

-What about a kind of meet/greet feedback sessions with devs using Coms?
-Also I do like the black green theme!

-Last but not least, why not integrate Coms, Synapse and Cortex(and Heatmaps etc), let the user check which service he wants to be active. Now I have 3 Razer programs, meaning 3 shortcuts, 3 updates etc

I would really like to see Razer insider has some integration with Steam, Origin. Example: connecting these accounts to your Razer insider profile.

Is like to see a thread about upcoming new razer devices. So that you can see what people like and don't like. That would be cool. It will give me a heads up to when I have to save some money.
    Thanks

I think you guys are already planning this, but if you aren't, I hope you consider it! How about switching the cult.razerzone.com (especially for your products (peripherals...)) "forums" to here? I think that would be awesome! :D

I know right? If there was one program Razer Core or something, that would merge all the razer softwares and just switching between them with tabs. Damn that would be so good.
