I have just downloaded RIft and made an account. I don't think it will take me away from league too much. But I want to give it a chance to suck me in. But first, I much now if this game is actually worth my time? Is anyone still playing this game? Is it actually free to play? Will I enjoy my time in this game.

Is there anything that I need to know before I invest sometime into this game?

I have played and enjoyed WoW, but I don't want to pay for anything right now. I am saving for anew rig. I want to know if any of you guys play this game? What are your thoughts.

    also, youget zsilver for playing.
So if anyone wants to be a noob with me I am totally fine with that.
or Should I check out Neverwinter

Neverwinter is surprinsgly fun for a freemium game. Can't say much about Rift, but I think it'll end up dying much sooner.

I played about 2 years ago and it was fairly dead for low level people even then. I found the community very resistant to coop game play overall, especially if you are under leveled and not in the late game state. You will hear a lot of "get higher level or better gear and then we will play with you." I eventually quit because i dont play MMOs to play by myself. Thats why i have Skyrim lol.

I still go back into Rift every so often, it can be a really good time. There are enough people to make it worth playing, though it's not as highly populated as some of the bigger MMO's. If you haven't tried it, then I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a while and see how you feel about it. :)
