RP2 audio issues after update

since the update now my speaker makes a popping noisewen i click stuff sometimes. anyone else having audio issues, or can offer advise on this?

I tried a factory reset, but it did not help.

 

now it does it for no reason sometimes

you can hear it at the very end. and sometimes during button presses, its very faint.

Like many other Razer Phone 2 owners, I am also experiencing the speaker pop, and was able to reproduce it in a better condition (at least in my opinion) than the video shown above.

Overall, as long as the speaker makes sound, the popping sound will occur. However, I have noticed one exception, and it is when I start up the game I play.

The game I play has an initial warning screen (with no sound), and then followed by the in-game opening/startup screen where the bgm will start playing. If I launch the game and reaches the warning screen, and then go back to home screen, the speaker will still make a popping sound despite no sound has been played by the speaker. My guess is that as long as the phone activates the speakers, regardless of whether sound is played or not, will cause a popping sound. Unfortunately I am unable to test out other games at the time of writing this, as I only play one game at the moment on my Razer Phone 2.
