It has the same sensor, so it's as good as DeathAdder Elite. BUT... also Basilisk has built in internal memory for storing configuration + clutch button. It depends on you - what shape do YOU prefer, go to local store (if possible), and try both before you buy it.
I'm very curious about this mouse (especially the shape), hope that I'll get it someday for review :D

And it still IS. Basilisk have the same sensor as DA Elite, but has different shape (to "match" other people, who don't like DA shape).

I may have to grab this. I have the Orochi already, but thats for my laptop, basilisk can be used for my desktop setup once i get my blackwidow repaired..

Depends on what shape you prefer. I have used the DA Chroma and the DA Elite. For CS GO and other high paced shooters these 2 mice are the best in terms of overall weight, shape and size. The basilisk is meant for people with a palm grip so if you feel that your hand is around the right size for it and that you have a fully palm grip that you cant change, go with the basilisk. The deathadders are comfortable for any grip style, but they also arent the best for any 1 particular grip.

In comparison with RLTE, which one is better? I know that part of it depends on personal taste, but i'm talking about specs and performance here

Got this mouse for 2/3 weeks now,
removed the clutch button that I don't use. beside, this Mouse is in fact perfect for FPS games.

Dont' know why, but this is the first mouse i didn't get excited for.

Tested this mouse for a while on PGA 2017. Unfortunatelly they didn't have the short clutch button, because my thumb rested always on in. Shape is great, and it's a bit smaller, than DeathAdder :)
