Yes but not really. Technically possible, but it will be hard to find a replacement battery.
Inside the unibody aluminum chassis of course. Like a MacBook.

Does this laptop reach really high temperatures like the others, usually?

Hi, in the market for laptops obviously. Pretty sweet laptop. I see you can get it configured with 2TB (2x 1TB m.2 cards). Just curious if there is room in there for a 2.5" drive too. Doesn't seem like it.

I would be using it as a DAW so 1 SSD for OS and software, 1 SSD for samples, and 1 SSD for recording to and storing audio. Guess I could use an external Thunderbolt for the third and daisy chain it to my Apollo 8P, but would like to keep it all internal if possible. That would likely mean a gaming laptop built like a tank though.

It looks like there is just going to be 2 m.2 card slots, no room for a 2.5" ssd. I think your best bet would be to use an external like you mentioned if thats the setup you need. This laptop is also built for portability, so its a lot thinner then most laptops for whats inside, so it makes sense there is no extra room internally for a 2.5" drive.

Any one now if the new razer blade pro will come to spain with spanish keyboard map?

    Probably not.

I say this as someone who has Spanish as his native tongue, but Europeans have waaaay too many customization requirements. Every single 10/20/50 million person country needs their own keyboard!

For reference, China has over a billion people and the US has over 300mm

Wow. Sold out already... What did they only have an initial shipment of 3 computers?
  15. I actually woke up super early - I mean three hours early - and then sort of dozed off repeatedly because the preordering was at 6 AM HST for me. Anyway, I ended up checking a bit after 6 AM HST to see if I could preorder and got the "Notify Me" button.

Man, that was a seriously short preorder window. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Well, I guess this means that I can wait for reviews to see what the thermals are like before I commit - heh.

I feel like there is no possibility that this laptop doesn't throttle significantly and get excessively hot. Even if it doesn't, the 6700HQ is a massive bottleneck for a 1080. Most other 1080 laptops ship with an overclockable 6820HK that's at least 30% faster.

    It is sexy-looking though.

Just purchased mine today. It actually went live two minutes before scheduled and sold out in 15 minutes or so, maybe less. Question I have is do you guys think it will be possible to upgrade the ssd via self service or will it be stupid like apple and soldered in

I'm pretty sure it's M.2 drives, but they're RAID 0, which might make it a bit less than straight forward.

Any chance to see a Razer Blade Pro with a real numeric keypad ??
