What Are You Playing This Weekend?

For many of us in the States, this week is filled with good food, family and friends. And for a lot of us here, it's also filled with tons of gaming.

Personally, it's been hard finding time playing games lately, but I've been splitting my time with Diablo 3 on the Switch, Overwatch and WoW on PC - there's so much to catch up on before 3.1 hits, arg!

So, I'd love to know, personally, what you all are playing or plan on playing this week and into the weekend?

I was just playing CSGO (2 ranked games: 1 was tie, and the second I lost). Beside CSGO, I bought Lords of the Fallen few days ago, so I am exploring that game.

Even though I don't play Dota 2 anymore, I am still watching some games on twitch. New patch came recently, the hype is real!

We stream CS:GO here a lot and I know we're watching top tier talent, but it always makes me feel super inadequate .

    Note to self: Git Gud.

I JUST hit 120. I'm still in greens!

If I got free time which is usually weekends or time after school I usually play Battlefield 1, Dota 2, Grand Theft Auto V and some other games sometimes, well... it belongs to my mood :D

    Honestly, I really like it.
I was afraid that the pacing would be too fast and catching would be up to RNG, but the game does balance it out considerably well.

Since there really wasn't much of a "pace limiter" I oftentimes found myself battling others that were way above my level. It was interesting to find yourself in an overwhelming environment, then go to a nearby Route to train up. Biggest change here is having to explicitly remind myself to battle random trainers or catch Pokemon.

As for catching Pokemon, it definitely feels more controlled than Pokemon Go (less sensitive), and I tend to switch to handheld for Pokemon I really want, and just fling Poke Balls using the Joy-Con at any others.

If it was $40, I'd have no trouble recommending it. But if you've never played Yellow, and have a Pokemon itch that needs scratching, this is a must buy.

For me, I'm not getting much gaming time. Maybe one or two nights a week I'm playing The Sims 4 in bed on my laptop for a bit before falling asleep, but we've been spending all our time preparing for my daughter's wedding this Sunday (Dec. 2nd) and virtually no time playing games.

However, I did pick up Let's Go Eevee as a holiday gift for myself because my daughter is getting Let's Go Pikachu as a gift from her soon to be mother-in-law. I am excited to play with her, because it's been YEARS since she played anything with anyone.
