@Mike, Well, if you arent in the insider program, it may be a while before you can install it anyways. From what I have been told, the main people that will have access on launch day are the "Insiders" aka beta testers. I am already using it and really do like it a lot.

    Was wondering the same thing.
I reserved it because I had the windows logo in the taskbar, but I think I will only update from windows 8.1 when I read I nice review about how it performs with games

I would highly highly recommend against doing that until Razer Support publishes their walkthrough on it. I attempted to upgrade from windows 8 to 8.1 without doing so and it resulted in a lot of issues. However that could of been due to SSD/HDD hybrid caching system. The only thing I can think that would break on a more recent Blade is the SwitchBlade UI. The most recent Cortex update adds Windows 10 support so I doubt we have much longer till they release their upgrade guides for systems.

I've been using it currently. I do not own a Razer Blade but i can assure you that this is a right step in a right direction. The builds are now more stable as its reaching Retail release. There are some things i still believe can be improved, hopefully they'll solve this issue in the next release of Windows platform.

You can try Windows 10 insider and if you really don't like it you can switch back to your older OS (Win 7 / 8.1)

I would probably upgrade my rig to Windows 10, and switch back if it's not to my liking.

Ok, I didn't think of that. Thank you for the heads up. It sounds like I should wait until synapse is 10 compatible at least?

Depending on what year your Blade is, Razer Support should be putting out a guide on what drivers to uninstall and reinstall and such and safe procedure for doing the upgrade. Anything older then the 2014 has reach EOL but if you have something older then it is possible to follow the newer guides just subbing in the drivers for the hardware you have.

I have been using Windows 10 Insider's Preview for quite some time now and love it!
I bought Windows 7 for my new PC rather than Windows 8(.1) because even though I love Windows 8, it was cheaper to get Windows 7 and update to Windows 10.

I will definitely be waiting for a few months after the initial launch of Win10, so that I don't have to endure any pesky bugs like I have before because of upgrading too early.
