Mice and Surfaces

Was wondering if any of you experienced this issue... I am using a abyssus 2014 mice and when I try to aim down using my right click it sometimes just goes back to not being aimed down, as if it were double clicking. I had this issue a few years ago and it was something related to hardware, but i cant remember how i fixed. Any ideas?

I've had this mouse for 6 months and it's getting worse that when I am scrolling down through a page, the page will go up a few lines before still going downwards and I know that this has messed with me in games as well, such as scrolling through weapons. Would this be a hardware defect or does the mouse need to be opened up and then clean out the scroll sensor? Does it wired and wireless; does it with and without Synapse. Compressed air has done nothing to solve the problem (while it's still screwed together). Also, keep in mind that this is my second Viper Ultimate in two years. I can provide a video if need be. Thoughts?

Hello! I'm just about to buy a mouse. I would love to hear from your experience what kind of mouse do you recommend for World of Warcraft? I used to have a Razer Naga X and I would love to buy it again, but see if you have experienced anything else about it. Thanks in advance for the comments.

Morning, I have both the Razer Mamba and Lancehead TE, I bought the Firefly V2 mousemat to go with my RGB setup more than anything and to have a decent mousemat, worst decision I ever made! I have tracking issues on both my Razer mice when using the mousemat, if I try and do any precise movements there is no guessing where the curser may go, it is awful. If I put the mice on to any other surface then they work absolutely perfectly, go figure! My Mamba I have been using for a while so I decided to unbox my Lancehead TE that I had never used and try that, and I experience the exact same issue. The mousemat has been setup through Synapse multiple times, and configured and I have already had the mousemat replaced once by Razer. Tech support are now asking me to send the mousemat back to them again so they can test it and replace it again rather than giving me a refund so that I can get a different mousemat. Both of my mice are a few years old, although the Lancehead is brand new out

Is there any tape on the mouse feet on Deathadder V2 Pro that you're supposed to peel off? I can't see it but it feels very hard and loud on my mousepad compared to my other mouse which has same material feet.

Hi, I have owned this razer Naga for like 10 years and never had any issues, but recently I plugged it (cant remember if it was on my Mac or PC) and suddenly the buttons changed fonction. The left one is now scrolling and the right one I am not pretty sure. I have tried to use the Synapse app to reset the button functions but it does do anything. so it has basically become completely useless for anything. I apologize if there is already a thread for that problem but I could not find anything. Does anyone have the same problem and would know how to fix it ? Thanks a lot for your help

Hello, Just bought the Naga Trinity under the assumption that I could assign macros to the side panel buttons. It's looking like that was a wrong assumption but I just wanted to confirm here before taking it back to Best Buy. Is it possible to assign macros to the side panel keys? I have the synapse software installed but the Macros section of the application is greyed out and isn't clickable. I'm guessing the macros section must only be for Razer keyboard users? Hello! It's my first time posting on these type of forums, but to the point; I have a Razer Diamondback Plasma, that I got from my boyfriend. It's a very old model, it's not being supported through Razer Synapse. It's working dandy, no problems but one. I can't assign the buttons on the sides to work as the "previous page" and the "next page" buttons. Buttons do work (I was able to use their in games), but somehow I can't assigne them in any ways for the browser. Does anyone have any tips? I have the RazerDiamondback app, but it doesn't do anything for the buttons.

Hi so I made a macro on my razer deathstalker legacy device and I exported it and subsequently imported it into the razer synapse 3.0 program. I was able to link the macro to the button I wanted on my razer viper mouse but i keep getting a message saying "this mapping requires synapse". This confuses me as I already have synapse open to try to link the macro. I also tried opening razer synapse 2.0 but that didn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to figure out a way to stop my mouse from changing DPI once I wake it from sleep mode. I have disabled "sensitivity stages" completely and have no keybind to change DPI anywhere because I hate the whole idea of changing your DPI. I play on 400 DPI period. When the mouse is inactive and I start using it it is at something like 800 DPI for maybe 10 seconds before it switches back to 400. It started happening about a week ago, so probably due to a synapse update. Really annoying because it makes the mouse aids to use for 10 seconds every time you wake it. I've thought about switching sleep mode off but that will also be aids because I have to worry about switching it off every time I go afk. (For all the inevitable smart-asses who can't read) Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I would like to connect my Mamba Mouse 2012 to my Mac Book pro 2019 (last Maj > Big Sur). The mouse is picked up by the computer, but the synapse software to shave does not work. It doesn't pick up the mouse, so I can't make the mouse settings. I have already tried to install and reinstall Synapse, I've already tried this too: Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy Tab -> Input Monitoring > Add synapse Do you have any solutions? Hi all, After some help and advice please... I have just purchased my first razor mouse which I was hoping to use on my Xbox series X and primarily Call of Duty Warzone! The mouse is comfy as hell and all the standard buttons work. I have set up the other buttons for my requirements using the synapse web site but when I use it back on Xbox they don’t work... Is it me or are the extra buttons including the multifunction paddle not compatible?? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Recently when playing World of Warcraft I noticed my character wouldn't move while holding down both mouse buttons. I didn't think anything of it because to my knowledge mouse works just fine and thought it could just be World of Warcraft. Then I started to notice it acting funny on Terraria, so it seems actions that require me to hold down my mouse buttons are having an issue. This is proven further when just simply trying to copy something I can see the blue highlight stuttering as if I'm losing the click. Also, I have two mice plugged in, both razer mice and my other mouse never has this issue. I'd just use that mouse, but that's just my FPS mouse. So is this just a faulty mouse (The razer naga trinity)? Is this a known problem for razer naga trinity? Has this happen to anyone before and if so, does anyone have a fix?

Hello, I've had a Razer Deathadder for the last 10 years without having any problems with it. Last summer I decided to change it with the new Deathadder Essential for no other reason but because it became too old and overused (the scroll started squeeking, the buttons became harder to click, etc.) So now, not even a full year into having this new Deathadder, today it started disconnecting itself randomly. It works for up to 5 minutes max and then turns off on its own. If I unplug it from the USB and plug it back in, it works again for about 5 minutes and disconnects again. I've looked through all the possible causes for this on Google. I have reinstalled everything that can be reinstalled and updated anything that could be updated. I tried all my USB ports, it does the same in each one of them. I tried other PCs and laptops, it does the same. I am currently out of options. Can someone please give me advice on what to do and how to fix this problem ?

Since the update, I've been having a glitch where the LMB is registering a double or a single click. I've done the regular troubleshooting of testing it in another computer for hardware, deleting all the software and re-installing, just that one particular mouse (naga mmo molten edition) doesn't left click correctly on the new update. It also stopped syncing correctly with synapse. I was undetected by synapse 2.0, which I then re-installed, remained undetected, uninstalled, installed synapse 3 which detected it as legacy hardware, directed me to the synapse 2.0 download, which I re-installed again, at which time it was detected without issue (I think the pulse led effect was missing, but I wasn't really concerned), but the left click error remained. I swapped to both a generic Microsoft and FPS mouse without issue, not sure if anyone else has ran into this problem or solved it.
