Razer Cortex

Cortex was working fine with Valorant for about a week, but after the latest update last week it would not let Valorant start up at all. When I start the game, it will do the "Ram optimizing thing as normal" and the game would go into the black screen as normal before it starts up, but then I would see the cursor pop up and see the spinning wheel indicating CPU is working hard, then I get a windows sound notification like something is disconnected or an error bug sound, then spinning icon would stop and Valorant becomes "not responding" in the Task manager. Updated all my drivers, windows update etc (Windows 10) and it still does the same thing. Simple last resort fix, I turn off Cortex and Valorant will run absolutely perfectly fine. omg. annoying. So after realising that Cortex was the issue, I went into the Cortex settings and forced Cortex to not optimise anything. Restarted the game and the game appears to start as per normal, and gets to the start screen fine. But as soon as I

I bought razer kraken x two months ago then the size adjustments broke i never dropped or acted roughly with it so I contacted the store i bought it from so that they replace it but they said its my fault so what should i do? I have a 2 years warranty ( i have those photo of the broken parts its the 2 size adjustment )

But the file that it say to edit has not been used for one year by Razer cortex. And changing it do nothing. It’s been one year since i bought this mouse, i took really good care of it never saw the floor or anything like that but since 3 days both click have problems; the left click is lagging, sometime it work and sometime it won’t but most of the time it register the click like a holding click and there’s a really big delay before it register the click, the right click seem to work normaly but something theres is a delay on this one too

Hoping the devs add custom crosshairs to cortex. I was recently annoyed by the apex crosshairs and wish they were bigger, realized you can't really customize em like in other games. I then proceeded to find random apps that did the job but wouldn't it be great if cortex had it already with lots of customization so we don't have to dl yet another app. Games like apex have already said this isn't bannable because some monitors already come with this feature. Opinions?

I have some questions regarding the performance of this laptop. I currently have the newest Razer 15 with the i9 3080Ti variant, I have seen that the razer blade 17 received a GPU wattage update via the BIOS. I was wondering if there any plans similarly for the 2022 razer blade 15 models. Although the performance is great, it’s a bit daunting that for 300 dollars more in estimation, I can get 20-30% performance boost and larger screen variant. It under performs in that segment. This isn’t by any means a negative concept, just from a logical user perspective, it’s illogical the strong differences between the 2 in terms of performance. Are there any plans for such an upgrade? , even 10-15 watts additional can make it reach a moderate level in a smaller chassis.

I'm trying to implement a system where software is collecting FPS information on games. This data would stored and analyzed for statistics. Basically FRAPS without video recording... I don't know where to begin. I tried search for solution to read FPS data on any game but without luck. How can i inject my code to a running process so I know delta time between frames? I guess it has something to do with DirectX and OpenGL specifically but I have no experience in this kind of stuff. How is fraps implemented?

Ever since they decided to pull the Razer Silver tournaments (and apparently all the instant play games entirely) from the mobile app, I don't really feel like it's that fun or worthwhile to use. Just having the P2P games (Which are generally not really my type of games admittedly) that don't change for weeks and the offerwall there's not a whole lot more. I'm a bit disappointed that they got rid of the Tournaments, especially considering we were never told why the decision was made. Anybody have the same feeling about this? Lemme know what you think.

Hey there-- I'm having a problem with Razer Cortex digital vibrance where it doesn't turn off after I close my game. I am using it for VALORANT and Apex Legends and I have it set for 100% digital vibrance when I open my game. It used to work where the digital vibrance adjustments would turn off after I closed my game but now it does not turn off and my pc remains extremely over-saturated in all apps. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem? I would really appreciate some help! Thanks!

I recently downloaded RAZER CORTEX so that I can my my modern warfare games more vibrant and after I used it for about 2 hours, I wasn't satisfied with the result. After I Uninstaller the application, The changes stayed and my colors on my monitor are off. These changes are applying to all of my games and I don't like it. I was wonder if there is anything you can do to help. I also tried to reinstall it and revert the brightness,hue,contrast and the other things and save,but the changes didn't want to go away they just stayed. I really need somebody's help.

Hey if i start up destiny 2 at any point where razer cortex is running in the background, or at all, the game will crash within half a minute. initially when the patch to fix this was released, the issue was solved for a short time but over the past week, this issue has started to occur again.

When I saw Roblox has now Booster Prime I was optimizing in Cortex with my own settings while this message popped up : "We're unable to optimize your settings as your game might be still running and/or its settings file is in read-only. Please Exit the Game and/or change the file's attribute, and try again." I wasn't on Roblox, I closed the website but it still didn't work and I had no idea which was Roblox's attributes. Can somebody help me about that?

Hi All -- When I use Booster Prime to try adjusting digital vibrance (specific game is VALORANT), it doesn't let me. I can adjust brightness and contrast, but not hue and saturation. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Cortex and unintalling/reinstalling VALORANT, but it didn't work. Any ideas?

I just saw this notification. Why in the world are they removing tournaments from Cortex mobile? That's one of the best features of it, why would it be removed?

Lately my PC (alienware 17 r4) seemed a bit off, so I ran McAfee Stinger and Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool and came up with these(Attatched Thumbnail) results on both. Just wondering if anyone has run into these or can share some knowledge on them. Are they legit viruses that somehow snuck in? or are they just false flags? or possibly outside viruses that just chose the razer files to hide in? I've only done updates that were recommended by my Razor Central/cortex/synapse programs. I already quarantined them just to be safe so no rush, just sort of curious more than anything. Many Thanks in advance for any insight on this

I just updated from a Thinkpad T480s (cortex supported) to a Dell XPS 13 9305 (don't make fun of me, I'm a casual gamer), and Cortex isn't supported. I find that quite weird since it has a newer graphics card, so wouldn't it be supported as well? If someone can help, I would be forever grateful :)
