Razer Synapse

Hello, I am trying to find compatible RGB RAM which can controlled using Synapse 3. I am looking for a RAM vendor who is integrated and supported. I do see that TeamGroup does indicate support for Chroma Connected Devices. I am having no luck with my G.Skill TridentZ. Razer support referred me to G.Skill support, who indicated they are not currently integrated into Chroma connected. I can control the G.Skill RAM's RGB features using the awful G.Skill application. I have successfully integrated my TT case fans in Synapse via the TT RGBPlus application so I know the Connected Devices module is working. I am beginning to suspect that my Gigabyte Z390 Designare motherboard is playing a role. According to reviews, the Designare motherboard does not support native 5V ARGB DIMM control and thus does not support Gigabyte's Fusion RGB application, only the basic Ambient LED app). Since Gigabyte isn't currently a Chroma Connected Devices member, maybe it's a non-issue. Does the Synapse Chroma

How about a learning effect? Let's say we put a layer of normal effect, lets pick fire, then we have a layer that remembers, and shows, how much we use a specific button. Let's say we use 1-5 and a few buttons around WASD. This effect we might be able to set our own colors dependent on the number of key presses and only when the game is on (Gaming mode). The result would might be that WASD becomes red. Shift orange and the other key presses different dependent on how much we use it. This would, not only, be useful to me when setting up a profile for the first time but also when analyzing the key placement and habits. The function can, of course, be expanded upon with other functionality and the ability to copy this usage profile data to a completely custom profile. If anyone else has any ideas to add, change, or if this function already exists but i have missed it, please let me know.

I'd like to use an API with Autohotkey to change the lighting on individual buttons. Unfortunately, I completely miss the C ++ knowledge to write me an API. But I can imagine that it could create a dll, which ensures a communication. The API should be able to do the following. Basics: Login to the SDK server Maintaining a connection Log out of the SDK server Keys: Set all buttons at once and single buttons - / - On off - Brightness - Colour optional: Query of the key status - / - Is the button on or off. - In which brightness the button lights up. - In what color does the button light? With such a DLL you could already start a lot and it would open the gates for many flashing lights the Autohotkey Community. Maybe someone will find himself, who can imagine implementing this project. Thank you for reading my idea

I recently bought a Razer Blackwidow Lite because my old razer keyboard broke. I already had a Razer Deathadder for a while. Since the Lite keyboard is white I wanted to change my mouse light to white aswell. This is what I see. It's kind of off-putting. Is there any way to fix the colors? Maybe there's a reset?

Every time when I turn on the PC chroma lights starts from rainbow till The Synapse studio runs on startup. Is there is a way to save the profile in the device till Synapse starts?

Is there any way to customize/set the default lighting for a device, even when it cant connect to synapse i.e. when I lock my computer or on boot up before startup? I do not want the device to forget their settings even when they are unable to communicate with synapse, either customize what it reverts to (which could even be just completely off), or have it remember the last setting until it regains communication with the application. If I wanted to drive down rainbow road I would dust off the N64.I know that the hardware is capable of this, because synapse 2 doesnt have this issue, but I am now forced into synapse 3 as of a few days ago, because I just got the Nommo chroma speakers... which apparently are incompatible with synapse 2... Hi, I have this issue with only my RAM not being to change colors as fast as the other RGB products. Here I am switching heroes in overwatch and you can clearly see the delay in color switching https://streamable.com/hgwqa My ram is :Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB DDR4 DIMM 3200 Mhz / 16 (2x8GB) Black The rest of the gear I use is Razer. Hi. I am relatively new to Razer (less than a year) and I am still experimenting with chroma. I wanted to ask if any of you could explain to me how exactly does the red cross on the chroma studio "placement mat" works. I realize it depends on the effect, but is the epicenter of the effect always considered the very middle of the cross (i.e. coordinate 0,0) or does it depend ? for instance, on fire effect, if i move the keyboard to the lower quadrants it gets a lot more oranges, and if i move it to the upper quadrants i get a lot more dark reds. Am I to assume then that to get an equal number of reds and oranges i would need to place my keyboard at coordinate 0,0 ? I am looking for a list of Chroma keyboards, gamepads, etc.. that can be completely configured by the MacOS version of Synapse. Let me be more precise, say I want to change the colors of individual keys. I know that I CAN do this with the Blackwidow Chroma (v1) and I CANNOT do this with the Orbweaver Chroma. So, does anyone have a list which devices can and cannot have their keys individually color configured on a Mac? Thanks!

Something I love to do is having a dark purple glow as a static layer and bright pink reactive layer on top of it. It looks fantastic when it triggers, but...when the bright pink fades out, it does not smoothly revert to purple. Instead, the keyboard lighting turns off entirely for a split milisecond, and THEN it turns on again and goes purple. Wish this could be chnged.

The light settings I choose for my firefly cloth are not staying after I select them. I choose wave and then it just changes to a spectrum cycling after like 15 minutes. Something may be wrong with synapse

I had an idea for a new effect for the chroma studio. When you press the FN key on a razer keyboard, it lights up all of the function keys that apply to it. I thought it would be cool if we could use this effect in studio. I.e., it would be cool if we could have a function like reactive, but instead of lighting the key that was pressed, it would light a different key specified by the user.

Hey guys, Sorry is this post gets a little long winded but I'm having a lot of problems finding answers from anyone, specifically motherboard manufacturers. A few years ago I made a custom Arduino controlled RGB setup with results I was happy with but it's been a few years and I feel it's time to update this but things have changed a bit since I built mine. Seen here: RGB RAM sticks, motherboards, and video cards are all common place now and all things I want to tap into this go around but yet owning any of the components and just seeing the SDKs for each one, I'm having problems deciding which one I want to tackle. The Chroma SDK I feel is the most developed and best documented and would be the easiest for me to plug into but before I go out and spend a boat load for my next system I want to see if it's even possible to control all these components (RAM, Mobo, aRGB header etc) with my software + Chroma or not. Hi When I bought my Huntsman elite whenever I switched between chroma profiles the transition was smooth. I set up a "Office" and "Movies" profile. Office was a default one and when I opened VLC player it would go to "Movies" and lights on the keybord would dimm to the point that you could see the letters but it wasnt distracting. So both profiles had same effects (static white) just the one was at full brightness (all values to 255) and one was at a low brightness (all values at 25). The transition was like this: from fully bright keyboard it started slowly dimming to movies profile and vice versa. After some time I bought Razer Mamba Elite and since I hooked it up the transition is like this: Keyboard and mouse turn off lightning completely and then slowly start getting brighter. And this is annoying. Tried reinstalling Synapse but still the same. The thing is that I wanted to do Philips Hue lightning in my room so that lights would automatically get slowly dimmer when watching

Hey need a bit of help with this, iv been wanting a rainbow wave scheme to be going across my keyboard. Trying to design it my self doesn't seem to be working or down loading from others. If it helps apparently my files are meant to be ".chromaeffects" but everyone elses is in ".razerchroma" Whats going on? Getting board of the breathing scheme XD

Hi, So this is my first thread, so I apologise if it's not in the right place. I am finally taking the plunge and building a PC after many years of console gaming. I have decided on the case (Lian-Li pc o-11d Razer Edition) and the 9 fans to light this baby up ( Thermaltake Riing Trio) My question is have any X570 boards been approved for syncing with Chroma? If I went with the MSI range of x570 boards will I be able to control any of the RGB on the board/graphics card from Chroma? I know I'm after a Razer mouse/keyboard and I want to be able to control everything from one software and Chroma seems to be the perfect solution. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks NaZoooom

Hello guys! I ran into a problem. Today i bought addressable RGB strip and MSI software uses it as addressable one but Synapse thinks that it is non - addressable (it can light it up one color at a time) so no fancy effects are available. Is it a limitation or it can be fixed?

Hello guys, i tried a lot but now im stuck. i bind on "FN+Page UP" mic mute. so i can mute my mic (wow :D). i prefer this for discord and not the hotkey setting in discord (with the hotkey i have an other issue. explan it later). with this mic mute action i would like to change my keyboard from Wave rgb (standard profil) to red (wave, rad,... the effect isn't important). I already have a mute profile with red wave but i can't bind 2 actions (mute mic and switch profil) on one key. for themselves the profil switch or mic mute/unmute works. is there any solution? short: my wish is: if i press "page up" my mic gets muted and my lighting switchs from rgb wave to red. and back. and my problem with the discord hotkey: i bind on "Page up" switch profil to mute. on profil mute i let them switch back to profil standard (rgb wave). This works well. also the hotkey on discord works well to mute the mic; WITHOUT the binding on my keybord for the profil switch. if i combine the two variants (cha
