Would love not have to open Synapse and navigate through the menus to switch the power profile whenever I've plugged in or unplugged my Blade. Will continue to pipe up about this until it's a feature. In the meantime, anyone know of any workarounds for automatic power profile switching? Is there a way to build a macro that accomplishes this? Cheers
Hello, so I started to have this problem where, when if Razer Synapse is turned off I can switch all the original dpi's and all that stuff, but when I turn it on whatever I do it's the same before I turned it on, for example 800 dpi and it's not possible to switch it to any other whatever you do it's the same, I tried Synapse 3 and 2 and it's the same thing. My mouse is a Razer Deathadder Elite.
Hello, since some days, when I start TESO, Synapse2 refuses to change Orbweaver Chroma's color. Starting TESO lights go out, after a while they come back in "red", configured is "yellow". Opening Syn2 configuration and modifying colour has no effect. Keys are mapped correctly. (deinstalled Syn2, deleted files from AppData and entries from registry, installed new) Does someone has similar or a solution ? Greetings Lusabit
If you are having trouble getting Synapse to run stable on MacOS Mojave; try the following which fixed it for me. Goto Preferences> Security&Privacy>Privacy>Full DiskAccess Add all three Razer services: RzUpdater, RzDeviceEngine, Razer Synapse. It appears the drivers are using deprecated libraries to access the file system; and don't have enough access to do what they need to do with the new secure APFS. Prior to this my profiles kept vanishing on restart of the software and the software was completely unstable. After this change everything is working better than it has in months. So there you go N=1 evidence an a whole. 10 hours of testing. but looking up.
I am having great issues with my Naga tinity and Synapse 3. After gaming for a short while, it will have huge delays between pushing a side button and it activating on screen. 10+ seconds. This does not effect my top buttons, or mouse wheel. I will open synapse 3 and try and swap profile, but it just freezes. I get a red ! beside the on board memory icon and it says - your profile did not transfer successfully to your devices white on board memory slot. please try again. I have tried unplugging the mouse and using a different usb slot, which fixes it for a while, maybe 10 minutes, but the same problem comes back. The synapse just freezes when i try and change profile. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled it several times. My PC is fairly new, like 3 months. My last mouse worked fine. The mouse if also only a couple months old. I play my games in full-screen windowed mode, which I read may have some effect. I have used the old nagas with synapse 2 for years without issues.
So, I just got the new Nari Ultimate Overwatch Lucio edition today The headset looks dope Just want to report here, that the Chinese localization title is missing a left Angle Quotation Mark I uploaded the screenshot of the headset in the Devices tab, which is missing the mark and the screenshot of the detailed configuration after you tap on the device, the full name on the bottom, which is correct It's no big deal but it would be wonderful if you guys can fix it soon! Thanks!
I have 2 computers, both of which I game on, but one also doubles as my work machine, well the machine I do work-related stuff on. Regardless, both have the same Razer Keyboard and Mouse. A Naga Trinity mouse, and Ornata Keyboard to be exact. There are times when they are both on, and in use by me. Razer Synapse doesn't seem to like this as, from what I can tell, it is constantly polling for profile information, and having 2 simultaneous logins seems to cause confusion. The symptom is that on both of the machines I get messages that pop up asking which profile do I wish to use, local, cloud, or ask later. It doesn't matter what I select, as this popup will appear again later on, especially if I'm hopping back and forth between computers. Most of the time the second and subsequent pop up's happen behind the game I'm playing, but not always. If I'm not playing in a fullscreen window that game will pause, go black then completely minimize just so I can answer the Synaps pop up. Wh
Hi Guys I've got a Razer Ornata Chroma, Razer Mamba Tournament Edition and a Goliathus Chroma. I have had this issue for awhile now and have tried every single solution on this forum including a reload of Windows, removing the driver files, reinstalling, etc. etc. etc..... to no avail. I have tried both a Coolermaster laptop stand and a Deepcool, the Coolermaster modular stand allows for a 3.5v external PSU to be connected to the USB hub. With and without the external power the same issue occurs. Same thing with the Deepcool, however it became less frequent funnily enough, with just a back to back USB 2.0 cable. While the USB 3.0 cable as I understand it allows for more power to be drawn, still don't think its a power issue. Are there any working solutions on the horizon @Razer??? Pretty ridiculous to get fully kitted out and then to have this issue. I am even willing to buy a USB hub that will work at this point, any suggestions around that guys? Will connecting it directly to
Hello, i am installing a new gaming computer and i'm going to use my razer keyboard and Tartarus on it of course. So i was hoping i would just install Synapse on my new machine, export all my setups (profils, studio, device setups) to a file and then import this into Synapse on my new machine. But there is no global export ?? I checked the appdata folders, hoping to find a presets folder for razer or synapse, but nothing? So, my questions is : do i have to re-program everything i have setup in Synapse by hand on my new machine ?? If so, that's kinda weird in this age of technology :( :(
I'm really just done with this software (and probably razer too). i have had issues with it since day one. Support is the most useless avenue ever unless you want to RMA your broken product. The latest issue is that i literally cant see/pick any games/exe's to link to profiles. this is right after a fresh format of windows too! I wont even go into all the random crashes, and issues with keys sticking randomly lol. What i really want to know: WTF is the plan with this software?!?!? its been in beta for years, and is still an unstable dumpster fire. its like there is ONE computer science intern developing it with no road map, or coherent direction. Half of my peripherals work in 3 but i have to install an old version for my slightly older peripherals? how have all legacy devices not been added yet!? The interface is clunky, confusing and ridiculously simplistic (in a bad way). is this thing even getting patched anymore? Its a joke that we pay a premium for devices, and they dont work
When installing Synapse 3.0 on Windows 10, it can progress to the last step before failing with a server access error. The issue seems to be with the Synapse installer rather than any actual server access. A work around is to install each module manually so that the Razer installer wizard is not used. Step 1: Open the installer log , It will be something like: C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Installer\\Logs\\RazerInstaller-ceed1f92-ff24-3445-be80-09ced0d23442.log Step 2: Go through the installer log and copy the web address of all the modules listed, there will be a bunch and you will have to fish for them. My guess is the macro will have to split up into a 'KeyPress' macro and a 'KeyRelease' macro. Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve: When the button 'E' is pressed down [::::> The button L is pressed down and released, then when I let go of the button 'E' [::::> The button L is pressed down and released again. During the time that the key 'E' will be pressed, I will be doing something with my mouse. Just a quick side note: the time between the pres
Hello, I have been making a program that syncs all the devices I have. My Peripherals: Mouse 1 : Razer DeathAdder Elite Mouse 2 : Corsair Glaive RGB Pro Keyboard : Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Mouse Pad : Corsair MM800 RGB Head Phones : Corsair Void RGB Pro As you can see here, my Razer mouse uses Chroma and Razer Synapse as it's LED controlling software. However, all my Corsair devices uses Corsair ICUE as it's LED controlling software. So, I decided to make a program that syncs all the Peripherals. Personally I am a freshmen studying Computer Science and Engineering in South Korea. I thought that it would be fun project for me to make a program to solve this problem. I have started this project about 2 weeks from now, and it is quite finished for me now, It does work for me now. And I would like to share you guys the working images of the project. If any of you would like to modify this program, feel free to do so. Also, huge thanks for all the wrapper projects in python. Gif
I am disgruntled right now and have found that many others are for the same reason. Synapse 3 "beta" has a fundamental flaw and what most would consider a regression: When devices using synapse 3 lose communication to the application (lock windows, reboot, etc.), the spectrum cycle mode kicks in until communication with synapse is reestablished. This has been voiced since the release of synapse 3. This was not the case with synapse 2, hence why I classify it as a regression. Unfortunately the latest devices are no longer compatible with version 2, which is the basis for my frustration. The only real "reason" I have found that Razer publicized about why this happens is that the lighting configuration memory management is done solely through the application instead of the devices hardware/embedded-software because of the more complex capabilities in certain lighting effects offered in the new version. Ideally we would like the devices to keep the last configuration set. An alternative
I have a Tartarus v2, and I have some complex attack macros that I would like to be able to pause (instead of on/off in an infinite loop) on the thumb dpad. Ideally, the macro would advance as long as I press the key, pause when I stop pressing the key, and then stop when it gets to the end even if I keep pressing the key. To totally restart the macro after it reaches the end, I would have to first release and the re-press the key. Is there a way to do this now, or is this more of a feature request? Thanks, -B
