Razer Synapse

can I change the monitor? I have two, but it seems the colours can be only taken from the main one. Anyone knows a workaround?

So, I have a problem-when I run audio visualizer (3.06) all of my peripherals work fine, except for tartarus which simply stays frozen. Trying to run earlier versions mostly ended up not fixing it (some even lagged). I know there's a visualizer built in synapse 3, but I don't like it-keypad does start to work, but it's a weird looking line(something like firefly/mamba) and my hdk starts acting weird. Any help?

HI So i have a 180cm long desk and i want an addressable led strip on the back off it. i want a led strip that is min 2 m long and can be controlled in synapse. philips hue is not an option cuz its not addressable.

Hello Razer community! I am new here on forums, but I am already a Razer and Razer Chroma fan since 2015. I am a software developer from Poland. When I was exploring different forums, I was able to see that a lot of gamers are requesting an integration, which will work in sync between Chroma devices, Asus AURA lighting and Philips Hue smart home lighting. Therefore I started the project, which I called ColorFull. The application will be able to manage lighting synchronization between these three platforms! I believe some of you already saw my posts in other threads, that I am creating this piece of software. But as I got some interest in here, as well as on YouTube (not big tho yet :)) I have decided that I will try to develop the application more and more and provide all of the news in this thread. So below you can see what is already done in the app, what are my plans and so on. You are also very welcome to give me your suggestions for the application! I might look for some BETA

I have bought philips hue lights not so long ago and iv heard that chroma can manage these lights so i wanted to test it out, everything works as intended except for the ambient awareness first i saw that the edit region can't have small sizes region, and then i realized that it dosent pick the right color in my game. I was testing it out on world of warcraft where i have an addon for my health to be monitor. i tried to oversize my health bar to fit the minimum region size in ambient, and it was only picking the background world and not my big green health bar. so two complains here for ambient awareness: first does not pick what i see on screen and second the region edit is too large

Hello, So I was browing through best buy and they had a huntsman of some sort on display with chroma going, and the effect that it had was wave when idle, and ripple on keypress. Now I can set that up just fine, but the thing that I don't get that it did is that the wave effect stopped when you pressed a key, and resumed when the ripple effect finished. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks, Nate

I have a few RGB strips lying around along with a few atmega32u4 arduino boards, along with additional parts and thought it would be an interesting project to see if I could tie it into my chroma setup. Setting up the arduino to control the LEDs isn't an issue, I just need some way of communicating with the synapse software. As far as I can tell, the chroma SDK only allows for software to control razer's hardware, not allow additional devices to be added. So is there any way I could do this?

So I was trying to get Makro Buttons to blink on press and stop when pressed again. I have seen 1 Issue with this and 1 Annoyance. My issue is that I cant get the effects to loop. they stop after going of once instead of looping after I press the selected key again. The thing that Im slightly anoyed by is that Both effects seem to be rather slow in starting up unlike in Synapse 2, were the effect started almost instant here there seems to be a delay. I set the wave effect to 50 speed and no pause. And the breathing has been set to fast. Both are on Start: selected keys and, End: Selected Keys.

New here, tried searching for this, but can't seem to find a solution. I was trying to figure out, in chroma studio, a way to be able to hold a modifier key (say the ctl or shift key) and have that change the color of other keys while that key is pressed. Ideally i'd like to be able to hold down the modifier key, and then see the keys with related shortcut functions in a different color so that I can go to them quickly. So ctl is held down and then the S changes to red, to remind me that I can save. Is this already possible in some way that I'm missing, if it's not... how can I request this, as I think it would be quite useful, so much so.... I'm shocked there doesn't seem to be a way to do it already.

Downloaded the chroma sync app yesterday mainly as i wanted to see the csgo profile would do. However, after opening chroma sync and installing the "csgo mode" it hasn't worked since. It crashes upon opening it all the time now. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it about 3 times along with re-installing razer synapse. Ill link a short video below to what it is doing. Hoping someone might have an idea on what its doing. Thanks

I'm using a Razer Ornata Chroma and I've found that screen space that I believe is black is typically interpreted as, at least, grey. And honestly it bugs me enough not to use the feature. Can we get a "blackness" threshold configuration or something similar?

As the title states, Synsapse 3 will not control the RGB on my mobo. I have the newest mystic light installed and in Synapse 3 it shows in the connect "Devices" tab. I have tried multiple installs and uninstalls of each, and still no luck. I have G.Skill Ram and a DeepCool AIO. Anyone have any luck getting this to work? Thanks!

I know this topic has probably been already brought up but, is there a way to make the HDK sync with Hue ambilight app for windows(like in movies, etc.)? The only topics I found are from a few years ago and it seems like nobody ever found a solution to that. And if not, is there a way to sync it with the screen colors besides Hue?

Toggle lights on and off, Like the reactive lighting feature but like on and off for keys like Caps lock or scroll lock or something that would be cool :)

Hi All, I know this is probably a topic that has been discussed on numerous occasions and in many threads. I have made a new thread as I still don't have the answer I'm looking for. I was wondering this beautiful community can help me out. Basically, the chroma effects are not working when I play Overwatch. When I say not working the keyboard lights up as normal, as soon as you go into character selector or you are playing a hero it glitches out. It looks like the keyboard is trying to do the lighting effects and also spectrum lighting at the same time. and numerous colors just flash at the same time Any help on this would be amazing as I'm pretty much stuck. I know synapse 3 can be buggy but all previous posts I have found on this have been from 2018. Thanks in advance.

Hello there, I recently just bought a Huntsman Elite and am very pleased with it so far! However I am migrating from a keyboard where I had a very particular lighting setup that I enjoyed very much and wish to replicate it near exactly here if at all possible. To be clear, I don't mind how much effort it takes me to replicate it even if I had to go down the route of using the SDK or related items to create it, I'm just looking to be pointed in the right direction. Basically all I am after is having a base background static colour, and then having that colour change to a different one instantly on keypress, and reverting to how it was on key release. This effect looks identical to the one that happens when you press a hypershift key except it is per-key and only changes the colour of the key pressed. I have a macbook pro and i want to buy the razer chrome x however i want a strong gpu because I will use it to render architecture related items. Those softwares are accessible through windows so however I will be using bootcamp will the nvidia rtx 2080 a good option and will it work fine with macbook pro 2017 and bootcamp?

So today i installed Game Dog for Cs:Go and seen some wideos about it too. For first everything was all right then i did something and a lot of functions disappeared..Now i have about only 16 commands or whatever with Cs:Go but in the videos there was a lot more! I dont even have team color..i tried reinstalling multiple times but what disappeared doesnt seem to come back..also when i try to update it it does it and when it finishes some Windows thing opens up then the app closes..and when i open it again it says to update it again..please help me..:]

Well, I bought a Razer Deathadder Chroma in the past and it has been my favorite mouse ever since then. However, my Deathadder chroma does not sync with my Blackwidow elite and that a big annoyance. I have to manage two software with two devices. So there are two solutions: 1. Buy a new Razer mouse that is compatible with synapse 3. pls add a comment on what Razer mouse feels the SAME as the chroma. I saw a few videos that new mouses don't feel the same and I'm afraid of that. cause surprisingly when I first bought it I thought that the shape was going to be uncomfortable but it was the opposite. 2. If anyone can tell me a way that I can sync up with software so the LEDs on the mouse and keyboard are not cycling in a different order Thanks in advance

Hi, I got a Novation Launchpad a few months ago and i was wondering, is it possible to combine it with razer synapse so it can visualize music together with my keyboard? Its basicly a MIDI controller so i guess there should be a way to do it right? Hope y'all can help me out! Cheers!

The most recent Synapse 3 Update killed the "advanced effects" on my Chroma HDK. The RGB strips no longer lights up in any of my profiles, although it still shows to be lit under Studio. However the Quick Effects setting still works. Anybody having the same issue?
