[NOTICE] Broken Insider Achievements
Hello Insiders! I have a little notice about the broken achievements here on Insider, that do not activate on their own and require manual activation from us. We can only manually activate those what should be renewing achievements once, per achievement, for each user. Examples of those achievements include: "Who's Next, You Decide" "That's The Stuff" "Mod Nod" There are also Insider Achievements that are not renewable, but which are also broken and don't activate on their own. We can also activate those for you as well, once per user, per achievement, as they would normally. If you require any achievements to be registered manually that you have not received once before, feel free to send me or one of the other Vanguards a PM with proof of the achievement requirements completed, and we can get it sorted out for you. Thanks for reading, and apologies for the inconvenience.

[TotW] Gettin' Merry With It
For many of us, celebrating the holidays comes with a lot of time spent with family, friends and more importantly, presents. Despite being an adult, I'm still lucky enough to receive presents from family members, usually the children take center stage and take up all the presents, but someone always manages to get me something. Although I have everything I need from this great brand we bleed green for, there's always something new that pops up on our list eventually. What's on your list? What shiny new Razer product do you hope to receive this holiday season? For the last Thread of the Week for 2021, let us know what you're hoping to get and as a bonus, if you post a photo of what you got in this thread, I'll be sure to reward you with a present of my own. - - - About Razer Silver: Razer Silver is the only loyalty rewards credits backed by Razer. Razer Basilisk Giveaway!
Hello Insiders! My name is Jenjar, and I am a Razer Vanguard here on Insider. Although I have only picked up this role recently, I have been a part of this community for over four years, and I have been a Razer fan for around five years, starting with a Deathstalker and Deathadder before Chroma was the big craze. I am doing this month's Vanguard Giveaway, and this time we are giving away a Razer Basilisk to one lucky user. Reply to the thread with your favorite FPS game and tell us why you love it. I will pick the lucky winner of the Basilisk in two weeks, along with a couple runner ups for some sweet Razer Silver. Good luck everyone! - Jenjar
New Laptop with RTX 3070 / 3080
Hi, I would like to buy a new gaming laptop... or desktop. Since last announcement of Nvidia about new graphic card for a decent price we can expect lower price and better performance gaming computer in all market. What does it take to Razer, after such announcement, to be able to release a new gaming laptop with this new GPU?
[TotW] The Stories that Move Us
I just finished the Attack on Titan story (manga) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The writing has always been terrible, especially if you're reading translations, but the world itself was very intriguing and terrifying so I was into it. The story also went in directions I never imagined and I'm a sucker for plot twists so I still enjoyed the journey overall. This week's Thread of the Week is super easy. Without spoilers, share your favorite game story of all time and why it shook you to the core. Like and comment for a chance at the weekly "Great" achievement. Other good responses may get the repeatable "Nice" achievement as well. - - - About Razer Silver: Razer Silver is the only loyalty rewards credits backed by Razer. [TotW] Giving or Receiving?
For the holidays this year, are you asking for that sweet Razer loot, or are you giving the goodness of Razer and sharing the wealth with others? For this week's Thread of the Week, share what you're asking for or giving! Or if you're sneaky enough, maybe you already know what you're getting - well played if that's the case. Since we're in the spirit of giving, I'll be giving out a few random "Great" achievements. Like and comment on the thread to be eligible. CES 2019 Predictions
What do you guys think Razer will showcase in CES 2019? CES 2017 featured Project Valerie and Project Ariana. CES 2018 featured Project Linda and other products. While the above featured concept products, Razer also unveils some of the products they're planning to release for the year. Last year at CES 2018, Razer revealed the Razer Nommo, the Razer Mamba Hyperflux + Firefly Hyperflux, and a collaboration with Netflix and Philips Hue. For CES 2019, we know that Razer will be collaborating with Microsoft for a new product for Xbox One. We should be expecting more to come aside from this, especially if Razer wants to win the Best of CES award again after failing to do so for 2018. My guess for their big reveal is the shortly leaked "Razer Opus" which is likely to be an audio related device. I'm also guessing and hoping that the next would be Synapse 3 supporting more legacy devices such as the Naga Epic, Orbweaver Chroma, Kraken 7.1 V2, Tiamat 7.1 V2, and others. Another could be a R

[TotW] Naughty or Nice?
Like any normal human being playing against other people, I can get tilted. It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen. There have even been a few times I wasn't very proud of myself after I was tilted half passed the equator. Generally, however, I'm pretty well humored and often shrug off a lot of negativity. Sometimes I find myself being a lot nicer than I normally would be outside of the game, especially when playing World of Warcraft. I often wonder if it has something to do with the progressive-cooperative nature compared to Overwatch where it's a cooperative-competitive game. What about the rest of you? Are you consistent with your offline self? Or do you find that you're meaner or perhaps, nicer when playing a game with others? This is your Thread of the Week. As we get closer to the Holidays I feel more inclined to hand out Silver :wink_:.

The Dreaded Backlog
Growing up as a kid and even up to my early college days, a huge problem was that I never had enough games. When I got my NES for my birthday the only games I had were the ones that came with it: Duck Hunt and Gyromite. We didn't have much money, so the games were far and a few between and anytime I got my hands on a game, I played the living daylights out of it. Fast forward to today, sprinkle in some hard work and whip up a batch of first world problems and I have found myself with the opposite. Now that I'm making my own money, I find myself buying games that I never get around to playing. Maybe there's a part of me that feels like I'm making up for the lack that was prevalent when I was a kid. Regardless, I have this huge backlog of games and with work and life, I feel like there's never enough time. Do you have a backlog? If so, how big? Do you think you'll ever get to it? This is the thread of the week, share your stories!

Best Price Comparison of Origin Keys and More
In this video game era, concepts like CD Keys and gift cards have become an integrated part for getting centralized services to download and play digital content. Playing video games is an everyday activity for many people. According to studies, it is popular among many players since it makes them happy and gives them a chance to take and enjoy the role that is ideal for them. The growing competition has taken the digital distribution of video games to a next advanced level, making it common among players. Due to special codes, like Nintendo switch codes they even manage to connect with other consoles and enjoy online gaming due to internet connectivity. While internet is full of stuff with different price offers, it is essential to make a thorough research and find the best deals. Among such offers are online stores, where users manage to purchase game keys, like origin keys or cheap steam keys and enjoy their game-playing experience. For having a safer and more enjoyable experienc
[TotW] What Do You WANT To See In The Future?
Insiders! This week's Thread of the Week is an easy one. What would you like to see more out of Insider? Promos? Giveaways? Content? Community engagement? Support? I'd love to know. This isn't a promise or anything, but it is crucial for me to know what, why and how awesome people such as yourself visit Insider. I appreciate the time you spend here and every little bit of data helps. Speak freely, let me know, I'm all ears. There will be no random silver giveaway this week. I'll choose the responses I find super constructive and useful. Thanks! -Dekades
Hi fellows, one question is bothering me for quite some time. WHΛT IS THΞ DΞFINITION OF Λ RΞΛL GΛMΞR? I have seen and heard various statements about the meaning of the word gamer, though most of the people, including some of my friends considered that playing games was just a part of the childhood, and that when you get to have a job and girlfriend, gaming slowly dies. It's not my case tho, i love to play games, i still do and i don't feel any shame about it instead i am quite proud about it. So even if i don't like all the games out there, i still appreciate the idea of gaming, of playing together with other people. I don't know how to say it, there are just things that feel good, like the endless rages you get, sleepless nights and so on. But personal. i think i have a more accurate definition for gamers. Gaming is a way of living, a lifestyle, if you're truly into gaming nothing should get in your way, at some point or another, you'll always find time to play. What do you guy
[TotW] The Road to Blizzcon Means Leak Season
I'm a huge Blizzard fan and it's tough being a fan right now. The state of the games, the state of the world, the state of a lot of things, make me feel like Blizzard isn't really delivering on the warm and fuzzies as of late. Often times, however, what keep me going are the leaks. A lot of them are fake. We learn over time to take them with a grain of salt. Every so often, after all that's been said and done, it's fun to go back and see if any of the leaks were right. There's so much talk about Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 it's hard not to get excited for what's coming at the end of this week. For me, it's practically Christmas. This week's thread is two-fold. If you're into Blizzard games, what are you looking forward to seeing or hearing about from Blizzcon. And whether or not you're into Blizzard games, are you into leaks about your favorite games, movies, brands or any sort of entertainment? Do you tend to believe them? Or do you prefer to throw a lot of hate at the ridiculous

[TotW] And Then Two Became One
Many times I find that one of our products simply aren't enough to fulfill a need. I can try to break into the secret lab the devs and engineers have locked themselves in creating the next best thing, but honestly, I'm sure they're light years beyond what I can even imagine. Back to my original point, however. There are times where I wish I could have the under glow of the Cynosa Chroma Pro and full Chroma keys on my BlackWidow Lite. Or a Firefly Hard Edition the size of a Goliathus Extended. Which Razer products would you ship to have babies to be the ultimate product? What kind of Frankenstein amalgamation would you cackle insanely for to give life? This is the last Thread of the Week for the Year, so I'm going to be super generous with Razer Silver. Be sure to check your rewards next week to see if you got something from Santa me. Ho ho ho!
[TotW] Do You Watch Esports?

[TotW] How Are You Doing?
Most of us by now are living in a quarantine of sorts. Many of us are practicing work-from-home and safer-at-home policies. For us here at the office, it's been a week. So far, the team in Irvine has been stellar and we've been quite the rock stars. We chat often, still play games together and sometimes hang out with our cameras on as if we're just hanging out and working together. We're strong, we're keeping it together. I, personally am curious how everyone else is doing? These are some challenging times. We can joke all we want about how this lifestyle is not so different from the usual gamer life, but when you're put in a situation where you don't have too much of a choice, it changes things. I can't meet up with friends for drinks, but we've managed to do it over video chat. Isolation for a lot of people is terrifying, while to others, it's a gift. I hope you're doing well. I hope you're all being safe. I'd love to know how you're doing.
[TotW] Free to Play, Pay to Win or One and Done?
During lunch, my colleagues and I were in a discussion about why certain AAA titles from major developers and publishers have flopped, recently. It seems that the past few years have been hard on big named games. It's my theory that on top of not having the original teams that bore the AAA game franchise, a lot of the games now a days are built around a revenue model instead of, well, a gameplay experience. I think when developers are forced to create around a revenue model, it can restrict gameplay systems and mechanics, which in turn affects how a person may enjoy a game. Personally, I don't mind loot boxes if they're for cosmetics only. I have huge problem with pay-to-win or stupidly RNG gacha mechanics. I'm 100% ok with paying full price for a game if I know I'm going to get a good value out of it and will pay extra for strategically priced DLC. So for this week's Thread of the Week, I want to know what your preference is. Fill the poll out and let me hear your thoughts!
