If I have the money I will definitely get one of this
wouldnt heat be a problem with 3 monitors?
I love this idea, its clearly heading hardware in a very interesting direction
it looks glorious
I'm still confused; is this an entire laptop, or something you can attach to the Pro? (Follow-up, why not make both? Not sure if that's possible.)
Project Valerie is a Laptop in its self, But the chassis of the laptop is ran off the Blade Pro. Mechanical Keyboard, 1080, I7 etc.. . They do make the Blade Pro right now, But it is unsure if this Project will become a real thing, That will be going into production. Still a Early Design it seems.
How would this affect frame rates? I cant imagine a 1080 running all three monitors in 4k with AAA games at above 40fps. I would absoultutly still buy it for other reasons like music recording, homework and video editing, but I feel as of right now targeting it for gaming is a little unrealistic.
Triple screens on a portable laptop is amazing. I could see myself using this when I travel and have a consistently amazing gaming experience wherever I am in the world. I'm one of those people that have a game going watching a live stream and doing a bit of shopping which is perfect for 3 screens. Hope to this laptop being sold soon.
How stable is it really on a coffee table though? Would be quite sad to have it fall backwards because of the monitors' weights.
Ha! We'll need Microsoft to run a "lapability" review on it It sounds like you can adjust the angle for the monitors (or at least that plan sounds like that), which would adjust the center of mass enough that I don't anticipate problems. Just a slight tilt past the hinge between the screens and the base would be enough to act as a counterweight, depending on how much the wings weigh. I am seriously curious what the final mechanism for deploying and supporting those side monitors is going to be...
This Project is already changing the gaming industry.
It has a lot of ups and downs
Razer, If you want to know why, you guys can contact me. I am too lazy to type
the concept looks great, only the idea to sit in a Starbucks with this xD
Can't believe someone had the balls to take it yesterday..
I know right?!? I couldn't believe they ran off with Valerie like that...I mean it is Las Vegas and all, but still
Seriously though, if it was just some dumb person, where is ANYONE on earth going to use one of those and not get caught? Makes me curious who did run off with them, how they managed to do so, and how long until they get found out. Hopefully we do hear when/if they catch them.
Looking at Mins Statement and the time of the theft I'm extremely confused on how they managed to get the laptops out without being seen. The screens on the side were none functional I believe.
Why not invest in portable monitors? LG already has the Wallpaper, do something similar, slap that snake orgy logo on it!
i am always amaze how razer innovate laptop up to this extent! I would like to congratulate the R&D and the designer of this laptop! you've done a great Job. but I just hope the battery will last long. its a little bit overkill though!
if we all just stop and listen carefully, we should be able to catch the laptop thief pretty quick. i imagine you can hear the fans on these things from a few miles out
Valerie concept is awesome! I saw it at CES last week and it really raises the level of enjoyment for gaming with a heightened level of immersion from 3 screens. There is some slight bezel around the central monitor but doubt you can do any better than this. I would love it even more if there was a 14 inch Razer Blade Version
