Does it matter which way around my Goliathus mouse mat goes?

  1. Hi all, just ordered a Goliathus mat to go with my naga mouse.

In all the pics, it's used in landscape position. It would fit better on my desk in portrait position (or my keyboard will be on part of it).

Does it matter which way around it goes or is the design of it meant it's best in landscape?

    many thanks

It's up to your preference! I personally use mine in the portrait position as well. As long you're able to use the mouse without going out of the mouse mat, you're good!

The mat works just in any orientation, whether you like it portrait or landscape

like the others said, it really doesnt matter, in the end its all about preferences, does it damage your bottom surface of the mouse more of u have it upside down? no, the surface of the mat is done that you can have it any orientation

It has to be oriented 45 degrees from the table's edge, it looks cooler that way, and is inline with the keyboard if you tilt your keyboard like cs go pros do

From what I've seen in photos, I think most people put it in "landscape" and then put their keyboard on one side and the mouse on the other. However, as others have said already, how you choose to orient your mouse mat is entirely up to you. There is no right or wrong answer.
