since the update to the newest cortex, its memory usage has gone up by 500%. also, it now running 2 copies of each razer program.[IMG]

I mean, really? cortex, especially the new one, is supposed to decrease memory usage, making more available for games.

so far I am not impressed by the new cortex.
the lack of features, forgetting my settings, and constantly demanding that I turn on gamecaster so it can spy on me is really just wanting me to uninstall the new one and reinstall the old.
not to mention the color scheme just makes me want to close it and never open it again.

That is weird. My cortex is using almost no memory (8 GB, Windows 10)

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

If I bring up my task manager, Cortex is using all of 82mb of memory right now ...

Cortex is taking about 73MB for me when I checked my task manager.

Performance should not be that high as other members here have mentioned. Try reinstalling Razer Synapse as @TheWill42 has stated.

If issue still persists, contact our software support team by clicking on your profile picture on Cortex and hit feedback. Our team would be more than happy to assist. Be sure to submit as a bug report and submit your logs as well

150Mb of RAM really isn't that bad. RAM is used to cache program data to make access faster, anything unused is a waste. So unless Cortex is causing you to peak 70-80% usage, I wouldn't worry.
