Yeah, I just opened my Mamba 2012 and connected it to my PC, yay!

But it has a problem with DPI setting.

It sets its DPI to lowest value so the mouse gets really slow. Synapse makes the fatal error.

And the Wired/Wireless mods are not working fine. Of course, whole mouse and drivers are in poor status.

I searched about this topic on Google, other people have same issue with me.

How's your guys? Are you fine with your Mamba or not?

    Razer must fix this problem.

This is a unit-wide thing. I have a 2012 Mamba and the drivers are garbage. I highly doubt they will fix it and going through support is a waste of time. The 2015 Mamba has this fixed but your issues are common and pretty much everyone with a 2012 Mamba has these issues (myself included). Too bad I got ripped off on eBay because I payed $80 for the 2015 mamba and got the 2012 model.

Oh and @Vivulux, it's useless I've tried countless times and it's something that may never get fixed.

Even till now after so many synapse updates I still sometimes have problems with my razer mamba 2012.

Every update a new problem comes up. Mouse sensitivity suddenly becoming really low and I have to re-adjust it in synapse (even though the dpi still shows as default).

Sometimes when I turn on my PC the mouse sensitivity is really low for the first 2-3 mins.
Sometimes It does not detect the mouse at all and I have to replug the dock.

I love the wireless functionality so Im willing to put up with all this issues for the 75% of the time it does work perfect.

Every time ive tried to contact razer they give me the same old canned answers (reinstall synapse / .net framework / clean out directories etc.) that I have tried and nothing has changed. After 3-4 back and forth replies I do not even get a reply from their support after they claim to "escalate this issue to lvl 2 support" and I have to reopen a new ticket. Even then sometimes I do not receive a reply to the new ticket.

I have tons of razer products and I love them all, but the mamba 2012 is sadly not one of the better built devices I have used from razer

plugging mine in whenever the issue arises (it isn't consistent for me) seems to solve the issue completely.

I cant stand to use it as a wired mouse though. If I wanted a wired mouse I would have just gotten the deathadder. Pretty much the same shape and ergonomics.

I tried using it as a wired mouse for awhile but I just felt I was getting cheated for paying extra for wireless functionality but only being able to use it wired.

Ive learnt to deal with the minor annoyances.

I don't always leave it wired. I prefer wireless as well. I just plug it in for a few minutes or the remainder of the match I am in if the DPI starts to act up.
