On another forum I post on I found issues with LTE & AT&T, and to my surprise my phone would not take an LTE Signal (it was defaulting to H+). I've been through this in the past and typically its a simple re-provision using an IMEI from my AT&T branded Samsung device. This time though it was a new issue - simple fix however. I was able to finally get LTE+ after going to the dialer, plugging in *#*#4636#*#* - selecting phone information, then forcing my preferred network to LTE+. I waited for a minute and now had LTE+ service, went back into the menu and changed it back to the default TD-SCDMA/CMDA/UMTS, and still have LTE+. I rebooted my phone to confirm it held LTE and it now in fact does. Just wanted to provide my quick and easy resolution to a problem I've seen posted a few times now to save others the headache. I've never had this resolve an issue in the past but am also getting VOLTE (even when I didn't have LTE it showed my line was provisioned for it, and it works when placing a call it stays on LTE). This fix has been confirmed by a few others as well.
Same applies to VZW users who are having issues staying locked to LTE. This is a really good piece of info to keep in your back pocket for most android phones
Also id like to add to this, I had this same exact issue, i had to go here: https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1218306?gsi=3DpkAG0 If you scroll down to read more it will show you how to create a Access Point, i had to do this then my LTE started to come up. Att Tech told me this was one way to fix this phone as they are also getting reports of this issue with the phone. I wish I would of seen this post sooner
Nope. I'm T-Mobile. I'll continue to use my Razer Phone 1. Hopefully Razer works with them so I can trade-in my device and subsidize the new one.
