In all fairness it still has all the regular alphabetical characters. I'd keep it lol.

Mine has an issue where the wave chroma freezes. Just the colors-- not the actual keys.

Was really responding to krayzie_bone1515 who said theirs was displaying Chinese... Both are mistakes: but I was really getting at that having a "new" computer already "configured" in Chinese and not booting into OOBE isn't indicative of them giving you a used/refurbished one; it could still be new.

I have used my Razer Blade Stealth since mid-February and when I first saw it I was really impressed by the design and build quality. Ever since build quality has been solid! Only thing that is wrong with it, is that is has frozen on me 3 or so times now, usually shortly after I plug in the power adapter. After a recent windows update I hope it doesn't happen again. I have already contacted Razer support about this problem and am waiting to see if it happens again.
Overall though, I am very happy with my first Razer purchase. :)

My first one has charger issue, also the logo is separated from the display panel. And the lid won't shut close on one side.

My second one has a even worse charger, also miner issue like the power button is mushy and slanted. Looks like the switch underneath isn't properly aligned.

These small issues immediately turns me away from Razer. If I am paying 1,200 dollars i am expecting something premium. All these issue I am seeing here really scares me how Razer is managing their manufacturers.

I have the same issue with my power button as well. Also, my wifi drops connection on a couple of times a day. To fix I have to disconnect from the network and reconnect. Other than that I am pretty happy with the stealth.

I've had freezing issues, slow downs and other glitches such as grinding audio noise. My 3rd replacement is arriving tomorrow. Razer has been really good about having it looked at, although it would have been nice if they offered some kind of compensation for the problems. It's hard to write a thesis without a computer...

Very hopeful that the 3rd time's a charm.

    No worries! :)

As soon as you've filed a support ticket, do get back to @Razer|Technokat and state your 'Case ID'. Your support ticket will be flagged for a prompt reply. :cool_:

I would not encourage bombarding Technokat with tickets. He is here to help the community and keep things running smooth. If it seems like a case was not handled appropriately or there was a misunderstanding he can look into it and try to help, but he is not here to serve as a fast track for your support tickets.

I completely agree with you. However, he did offer his generous help.

No I understand that, I just thought it fit considering one is just a software thing that's easily fixable vs a physical hardware problem that's kind of along the same line anyway. I was just mocking more than anything else :)

I would until I started to notice Korean software in the OS as well, which again I could nuke the install, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a machine that I ordered built and ready to go. Not to mention it's the principal of the matter and if everyone just went about "fixing" all the initial issues with a product, the manufacturer would never improve. It would ultimately hurt the Razer community in the end. I've still got my MBPr anyway until I can safely say the stealth can be a replacement.

It'll need to accomplish a couple tests first. I had been saving to build a new PC anyway, so I have some flexible cash on hand to test and then sell in the meantime. My current machine has a pair of GTX 680s in SLI. My plan there is to pick up a core and the stealth and then do a side by side comparison of my current gaming PC to the stealth + core.

If the stealth + core is sufficient for my needs I'll part out my gaming PC and sell my MBPr and probably actually be ahead in cash by a little bit when it's all said and done.

If the stealth + core suck or I have problems or it just doesn't live up to my expectations, then I could still keep either my MBPr or my Stealth (that just depends) and then sell off the other and the Core and just stick to my plan to built a new machine and possibly be out maybe $100-200 towards that build.

Did you tried to contact the support? I would definitely try to contact support for an exchange. However at this point, not sure if it is a good idea anymore. It could take you a month to get a replacement.

Was notified that my RMA was on back order and that my warranty time period was based on the initial system and was essentially burning while I was waiting for the replacement even though it was a shipping error. Razer was willing to put in a note in my support case to extend the warranty though, so thumbs up there. Not that I don't trust that method, but I decided to just go the safe route and ask for a refund as well as wait until some of the processes are shored up. I'll just wait to see the benchmarks of the Core systems instead. :slightly_sad:

Yes, he offered his assistance on a particular case that seemed to need his attention, it was not a blanket invitation.

Just stopped charging and fan is making weird noises.. Exchanging at Microsoft Store tomorrow. Last try. This will be like 6 replacements. Gonna have to make sure all 18 million current defects aren't on the new system before I leave the place. Cant believe this. If it helps I had a few defective Yoga 900's prior to switching to the Razer Blade Stealth looooool.

Thanks, and sorry for the mix up with everything just frustrated. Appreciate you reaching out. Since I'm still under the exchange period I'm gonna just do a straight swap today. That should mitigate the issue atleast a bit.

Are you still currently in the swapping process?
