    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problems as me with their Razer Blade Stealth laptops.

    1) The upper right corner of the trackpad is lifted to the same level as the palm rest on the laptop but the upper left corner is depressed inwards a bit.
    2) the spacebar is bent inwards in the middle so i pretty much can't see the backlight 90% of the backlight for it (I'm not sure if this was an intended design feature, but it seems to be just a defective part)
    3) The most annoying thing: Whenever i click and drag using the trackpad, the after dragging for a second in any direction, the mouse seems to go off on its own and keep dragging quickly to the edge of the screen. I'm not sure if this is a wiindows 10 problem or not, but it makes it really annoying to copy/paste things or move things around in photoshop etc. I have not experienced this problem using an external mouse, but with an otherwise very good trackpad I would prefer to be able to work without carrying a mouse around. Is there a way to fix this bug? I have looked online, but can't seem to find anyone else having this issue for razer laptops or other laptops in general.

Also does anyone know what the return period is for laptops? I'm a student and this is the end of the semester so it would be really hard for me to return the laptop and wait for a new one without falling very behind in my classes. Also, is it possible to return a product that was ordered online to a physical razer store instead of delivering it back? There is one a few hours away, so it would be nice to be able to just go there and swap it for a new laptop (and also check in store that everything works/there are no defects).

    Thanks guys!

Return period for laptops is 14 days from the day of purchase. So as long you bought it within that time frame, you would be in decent shape for return. Otherwise, you'd have to send it to Razer with an RMA and have them either repair it (I was quoted up to four weeks on my Stealth for creaking/case warping), or replace the machine altogether.

Re: #1 - That's a support issue, if it bugs you. My trackpad is almost completely flush at all four corners, it's inset just the smallest amount.

Re: #2 - Probably another support issue? My spacebar is flat, but it's also not backlit, so...I'm not too sure what to tell you.

Re: #3 - This is a feature of the Synaptics ClickPad driver. If you go into the Synaptics settings, under Pointing -> EdgeMotion, you can adjust how it behaves or turn it off altogether.

Thanks so much for helping me with #3!! It was driving me crazy and I couldn't find anything online after hours upon hours of searching!

these guys are keep saying they have something wrong
  8. For the uneven mousepad, put some heavy books on it and over the night it will get fixed.
  9. Does that mean it has nothing to do with the razer? Just manufacturing problems?

Razer needs to oversee the manufaturing side too, so if manufacturing has a problem, razer is responsible
