    Hello all!

Sorry if this is a rethread I couldn't find one that answered this question. Is the razer core or core v2 pcie 3.0 or possibly 3.1? I've been struggling with what to get either partially build a new pc vs get the blade and a core. The thing is I don't see anywhere in the spec that specifies what pcie version and throughput you get with the core. I see it works with nvidia 1080s, but I want to know what type of pcie it is so I'm not stuck with a 2.0 that could be obsolete within a few years. Which I have on my current mobo.

What? Sorry I’m not Master eGPU so don’t know really what you mean. technical specs of Core V2 PCIe 3 or 3,1 maybe only Technical support from Razer can answer or look at eGPU io ask man name Nando he is quite specific with eGPU. If you meant with Lanes thing (PCIe3x4 or 2 lanes) it comes from the laptops, and Blades with TB3 port support all 4 lanes to maximize 32gb bandwidth from Core (v1). Well GPU performance will always better on desktop due TB3 bandwidth with cpu on laptop, since Core V2 isn’t released yet (EU) so nobody knows the performance different (GPU) with V1.
Here eGPU specs comparisons when you need, but the masters there also are still waiting of real reviews from core v2;)
