i've tested and compare the Razer Switch between CherryMX
the Razer Switch produced by the Kailh - a clone of CherryMX, the quality of Kailh and Cherry is just not a bit different

after a time, you could see that the Razer Green Switch will lose the clicky sound very fast, but the Blue CherryMX is NOT. The Clickly Sound of Razer is not equally, some even don't have that sound when press down (my Razer OrbWeaver Chroma have 1 switch doesn't make any sound)
the reset point and actuation point is optimized but for nothing, this's just a bit change.

I think now Razer is bigger and stronger than ever, but you guy really need to care about ur product.

  3. Sounds Fantastic guys !!

I'm more than willing to test them.. But store's in my regio don't have them on display, so I have to buy before I try. It's the only thing that's stopping me :slightly_sad:

    awesome keyboards!

  7. These do feel nice :D but my switches do sometimes not reset, they're stuck, like when I type "A" it keeps entering it so I have to push it again to release it

Razer and Cherry MX key switches both sound very good in my opinion

I think you're overthinking it way too much. The click is just there to let you know you've actuated the key.

  12. Meh, the click gives you a) bragging rights about the fact that its mechanical and b) just makes it feel better, lol. My brother has MX Red switches and they feel pretty mushy to me

I often hear about keys sticking more often on razer switches versus cmx, but that has not been the case in my experience. They feel about the same to me. Looking forward to getting a board the the orange switch soon.

love the clicks... makes my gf nuts :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

  16. Have you guys considered making your own version of Cherry MX Clears? I think those would be quite popular and you clearly have the tech/RND to figure out how to take it even further.

Would razer make a full aluminium keyboard in the future?

I honestly thought mechanical keyboards were just hype. Then I tried a BlackWidow... I don't think my fingers want to touch anything else.
