image.jpeg Everything is all set! Quite satisfied. 1080p all games at 60fps is no problem. Less demanding games at 1440p as well.

Srsly tho, do they just have like one schmuck working on all of these Cores? How have they not gotten more for sale yet? I've been solidly refreshing for the past month already, and I'm sure there are some of you who have been doing it for longer. Why is it taking so long?!?

  5. So, I did put in a support ticket about the codes expiring, and the response I received yesterday was the below (and no they did not give me a new code, nor have I tested my original code yet) ->

    Hi.

    Thank you for contacting RazerStore.

We want to let you know that your unused Razer Core credit code has been extended to 12th August 2016 so everyone has a chance to purchase Razer Core.

It is currently on NOTIFY ME so please register your interest (if you still have not) so we will notify you once it is in stock.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Team RazerStore

  6. Given the setup -- is that the new razer blade (since the usb c is on the right side)...and from the core you are sending it back to the laptop screen rather than an external monitor?

I'd like to think I'm a fairly patient person. I didn't freak out when they didn't reply to my support tickets, which note, they still haven't. I have to give kudos to the community for being able to answer my questions. I didn't rage when my coupon code didn't work, or after all the different delay posts, but for some reason, this little PR post really irks me. I understand as a company at E3 they want to promote their product, but when there are tons of people just asking for some sort of insight to be able to just place an order, as in they don't even care when it actually ships, they just want to know when they can order it and no sort of insight is given, but they keep pushing how amazing and great their product is with no support for the giant line of ready-to-go-customers, it really bothers me. Like every single piece of information that I have gleaned as to when I can maybe have a chance to attempt an order has come from the community because that one lucky guy got an answer to a support ticket, or some non-razer-developer BUILT A WHOLE WEBSITE to help the community hold onto their sanity, you would think that the "Official Forum Razer Employee Person" would take 2 seconds to at least come out and say, "Sorry we can't tell you when you can order. DATE" Not even that is said, just silence. It makes any waiting customer feel forgotten especially when their PR goes and posts about the very product that has a ton of following that has no response about anything. I've tried contacting support, posting on this forum board, watching other people contact support and send messages to admins to seemingly just fall an deaf ears. I at this point don't care if my coupon expires and that I can never order a core. Just a message or announcement to say ANYTHING to help it's existing patient waiting customer base with obtaining Razer's product would be great. End Rant.

The products already had more hype and support than they can handle. E3 would have been a perfect spot to let people know their plans for ramping up production or rewarding the people waiting on the product.

Running a Strix 1080 from Asus. Internal display only getting 41fps on Witcher 3 1080p max settings. I expected better

Ouch. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered a 1440p display to replace my old monitor... and that's for a 1070 FE.

Nice setup! The only problem is the standard windows screen saver, which is out of your control :)

Wow yeah no joke. Maybe I shouldn't sell my 2015 blade. Any chance you'll be able to output to an external and let me know how it runs then?

I read that going back to your laptop screen through the same TB3 port is problematic for performance, but I didn't think it would be that bad. You should get a lot more performance out of going to an external screen, from what I understand.

Here are 1080 Gtx benchmarks for Witcher 3, with hairworks off @ 100fps at 1080p.

    www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_geforce_gtx_1080_gaming_x_8g_review,23.html

At 2k resolution with hairworks on nets an average of 58 fps

    hardocp.com/article/2016/05/17/nvidia_geforce_gtx_1080_founders_edition_review/11#.V2NeyZ_D_JA

And a guide to what settings heavily affect fps, with hairworks being the most critical.

Ok so for GTA V and my Strix 1080 OC, at native 3200*1800 high settings it is about 50-55. Sometimes hitting 60 at cutscenes. At 1080p or 2048*1152 max settings, it is able to hold a constant 60fps. Idk if this game is that much easier to run than Witcher 3. But it seems like something is off with the Witcher 3 game itself. Maybe because witcher 3 only uses the CPU as PhysX and cannot use the GPU. I did notice that at even 720p ultra, that game cannot get to 60 FPS.
