Why is Your software increasing GPU usage? What are those workloads, what computing is done by CORTEX in the background as I can't notice any ingame benefits of this over 30% GPU usage increase? Is Razer hiding something from us?

I didn't really noticed it. Do you mind attach some screenshot as well?

Idk if this help, I don’t use Cortex or other apps optimization softwares like nvidia experience but I recently enjoy softminer that’s thigh to Razer Software on my Razer Core Setting, it’s usually around 40 degrees idle and since it’s Evga card on those temperature the fans don’t move, but with softminers installed, it could some time kicking to 60ish (mining usage usually 70ish degrees hours run). If I check and move cursor from idle the temperature down again to 40 and Fans stop, after idling again, not always but often it acts same. Idk if this related software or hardware (my setting), Hope they’ll check this.

Why are you surprised? Soft miner is mining crypto currency while your computer is in idle mode so the whole blockchain computing is done by the GPU and under the workload it gets hot. To be honest the Razer Silver earning on softminer is a scam. Your electricity bill will be higher than the value of the Razer product which you will be able to get in exchange for the Razer Silver. And I don't mean the fans as much GPU is water-cooled. I mean the usage percentage in task managers performance tab. I don't get any FPSFbenefits from additional GPU usage which increase from around 65% to 100%. First a thought it was issued by the latest patch of the game but I did double check with other players and they didn't notice any GPU usage increase.

Note it’s not on mining, idle doing nothing. Uninstalled it gpu idle temperatures and behavior is normal. With Evga card I don’t see the need on water cooling since it’s egpu setting that couldn’t be overclocked decent like desktop setting. Though even default clock boost to 1600, with OC scanner it boost normally to over 2000mhz.

Dude. Did I understand correctly what you wrote, your GPU temps are rising up to 60 while Razer SoftMiner is on and the PC is idle ( no misuse movement), right? It's because it is designed to mine on your GPU while PC is in idle mode so when you move the cursor the SoftMiner is detecting it as non idle mode and stops to mine that's why the temps go down back to 40 degrees. And I don't believe it's only mining when you turn on the mining as it has it,s automode.

No, you didn’t, softminers is off, not even showing on device manager opened apps. PC idle means doing nothing, when I try to search the culprit it backs to normal 40degrees fans off.

I'm on a razer blade and I've had to disable cortex to be able to play and use the alt tab function.

I used Cortex - particularly the game booster - steadily for ~1.5 years but I noticed a marked improvement in gaming after uninstalling 9.0 a month ago.
