If only it's not constantly sold out :slightly_sad:

If it's FOR GAMERS. Why does it come with FL Studio? lewls Kind of an oxymoron no?

    I don't think it's an oxymoron.
Definition: a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction
Gaming and music production are not opposites or contradictory.

Or are you saying "gamers" don't do other things?

So i want to get a better external monitor, but from what I can tell the razer blade won't do anything other than 60hz for gaming?

I intend to get a core, but they don't sell them in my country so it's going to be at least a month before that's an option. I had hoped in the mean-time that I could hook my blade up to a 144hz monitor and at least play some games at high ish settings an 90fps.

Has anyone actually tested higher framerates over HDMI?

I would like to also swap the WiFi card. What size torx screwdriver is needed? And anything special to reconnect the antennae?

Contradictory doesn't mean they have to be completely opposite. For example, I can say that I only eat Chinese food. Then I turn around and eat a hamburger. I just contradicted myself.

Do you really not get what I mean? Or are you trying to be ANALytic?

I never said gamers don't do other things... You're pretty weird man.

  8. Please could somebody comment on the smoothness of scrolling and pinch to zoom functionality on the Razer Blade. I checked out a demo unit in the Microsoft store and it seemed extremely choppy. I'm hoping that a new system would perform better than this demo unit, but I would like confirmation before I place my order. Everything else about the system was awesome!

Depends on the app. Example: open up the PDF manual for the Blade inside Microsoft Edge, and it scrolls as smooth as butter. Open up the PDF in Microsoft's "Reader" app, and it scrolls with some visible jerking.

No doubt, the Intel integrated graphics are in use during these desktop uses - not the GTX 1060.

Note that I have the QHD+ screen running at full Rez.

When new chips come out. Keep 'em coming! Don't be like Apple - yesterday's hardware at very top prices...

  11. Thanks. What about general web browsing, whether it be Chrome, Edge, etc?

Wont be buying the Razer Blade till it gets perfect, it lacks in G-Sync 75 Hz panel; magnetic charge connector; a proper trackpad, it means integrated buttons on the trackpad (like the Stealth) and the smooth pinch to zoom and scrolling from Microsoft's Precision Touchpad drivers; and finally the backlit on the special characters and fuction keys (what a disaster). Everything else is perfect, almost, the form factor, the design, the color, the 1080p matte screen, the GPU power... Asking for no fingerprint attractive paint is to much to ask for? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I agree. I actually just bought a Razer Blade 1060 QHD+ to replace my Razer Blade 2014 QHD+. Only because I liked the experience of my 2014 so much. But this machine is NOT perfect.

So far, here is what I wish my Razer Blade 1060 had:
    - Kaby Lake
    - Microsoft Precision Touchpad (but keep the physical buttons)
    - backlighting on the secondary keyboard functions (that part pisses me off every day)
    - Windows Hello support on the webcam
    - Replace the #$#@!@!#! Killer Wireless with a reliable Intel Wireless (so I don't have to upgrade it myself)
    - 15.6" screen in the same chassis, to reduce the huge bezel size, would have been nice

I just noticed... the Razer Blade 2016 HD just got completely removed from the Razer store after being out of stock from the CES appreciation event. Do you guys think there's an update due soon? I hope they aren't discontinuing the Full HD version!

  19. Perfect improvement list! Don't care about the 15,6" screen though. I really like the Blade's size and I would prefer the same size over extra screen estate.

Interesting thought, but i got a Message via Twitter vom Razer after i asked them when the German Models are back in stock (approximately). And they said that the FHD Model with qwertz Keyboard will be restocked begin/mid March.
Don't know how much we can believe in this, but it is from an official Razer Twitter Account.

This information was very important for me because i would never buy something with a glossy Display.
