  1. Ditto. I'm going to be putting a 970 or 980 in the Core; worlds better than my 760 in my current desktop.

  2. I somewhat disagree with this statement. The CPU in the stealth (i7-6500U) is a decently powerful mobile CPU and if you pair that with a GTX 970 or better, then it SHOULD be fine. That being said, very few people have seen real life scenarios with the setup yet; we will all see soon, I suppose. :)

  3. I have been wondering this too. You'll have to let us know if it works after you get the Core!

  4. Will do! Hopefully I'm not the only guinea pig...

I love this idea, It's fairly reasonable for the performance point.

For a student is the Stealth better or Surface Pro 4 better?

For a student cheaper is better. Make your conclusions.

From a productivity standpoint, a full laptop form factor would be better. A better comparison might be to compare the stealth to the surface book - but the surface book has a much higher price point and a little more beefier options. If I were a student, of those two options, I'd want the Stealth - if you plan on gaming though - you'd need the Core and that plus a graphics card would push the stealth to around $2k.

That said, the Stealth (most Razer products, really) was not meant to be the most cost effective option - if money is your concern there are cheaper laptops / ultrabooks out there. It really depends on your budget and what you plan on using it for. If you just need an ultrabook that is built solid and looks good, the Stealth is priced comeptitively - and would be a good fit... If you want that, but you also want to game with it a fair amount AND you don't mind buying the Core + Graphics card, then it's still a good option. If you just need something cheap for school or you want to game, but with it and don't want to spen $2k - you may want to look elsewhere.

I actually have a Stealth and a SP3, and I'm in the process of selling the SP3. The surface is a great device, but for day to day stuff, the Stealth is the better option. The one advantage the Surface has is Windows pro. Depending on whether or not you need them, you may have to spend the money to upgrade. I use RDP for work, so I had to pony up for the OS upgrade.

Well once you get the SP4 with the type cover (which isn't really optional) it pushes it into similar price points.

I agree but I am a kind of a person who does use detachable keyboards. If you need one, buy a laptop indeed.

Guys! Make a shop in Hungary! This product is totally awesome, but how can we upgrade the Core afterwards?

The core is just a box for a GPU. You upgrade the video card. In theory if Razer released a newer core, you could just hook it up via the Thunderbolt port.

Yeah. The original post was asking for blade. I should go to one of the MS store to check out RBS though. It looks really good on videos.
