  1. Im thinking of saving up for a mechanical keyboard. Would it be worth it to save up and get one from razer to match my mouse? If so, which one?

The Blackwidows are really nice and have an awesome click to them. But it is all based on preference. I use Cherry MX switches because I beat on my keyboard. They arent clicky or comfortable but they can literally take a beating.

How much are you planning to save? Do you mind about the exterior? Do you need a numpad?

Which mouse do you have? If it's a chroma mouse, then you need a chroma keyboard to go with it!

If you just wanna get a Razer keyboard to match your mouse, just go for Blackwidow Ultimate. If your mouse has chroma effect can go for Blackwidow Chroma.

Well if your mouse is a chroma then grab a Blackwidow chroma if not then get the ultimate one. I recommend for you to get the BW X it looks more awesome and it doesn't have the macros on the side. :)

Hi H4cker_, hard to give you suggestions if that's all we have to go on.
What's your budget? What type of games do you play? What do you usually do on your computer? Do you type a lot? Do you stream/record video? Conference calls? Who do you live with? Any personal preferences when it comes to RGB LEDs and mechanical switch types?

Without knowing any of the above, the only thing I can say is...
    Yes.

  12. Razer Blackwidow (BW) is good but if you prefer a metal finish keyboard, razer also has the Blackwidow X (BWX) series.
if you like bright RGB lighting go with the BW since the LEDs are brighter. But if you want Cherry mx switches on your keyboard, i believe razer still has them on their Blackwidow ultimate keyboards, although it doesn't have RGB backlighting. still good keyboards IMO.

    hope this helps :D

As Raijin said, having a little more insight into what features you are looking for in a keyboard would help us give you better suggestions. Without knowing any of the specific features you are looking for or what kind of mouse you have, I would simply suggest the Blackwidow Chroma since it is one of my favorite keyboards and its chroma! But to answer your actual question, yes I do think it is worth it to save up for a Razer mechanical keyboard.

I would say save up for the BW cause everyone who I asked said it was really good

For mech keyboard: yes only Blackwidow
    For silent membrane one: Deathstalker
Chroma isn't a requirement but it looks so much cooler with it. But if you don't have the money for a fully chroma build than choose the old-school green lighted ones :D

  17. any of the blackwidows

If you already bought a razer mouse might as well pair it with a razer kb as well. If you like mech go for blackwidow, if not then the deathstalker.
