Hello, I recently bought a Razer Ornata and was very happy with the feeling after having played on a laptop my entire life. However, upon booting up the game I have been playing the most recently I realized I wasn't going to be using this keyboard for the foreseeable future due to an unexpected conflict. The conflict stems from 2 main issues, first I am left-handed, and second, the game ff14 is picky about what keys you can use for certain actions. Specifically, it is picky about using combinations of keys that you can use to access additional hot bars. for example, the game allows you to use cntrl+1 in order to activate the 1 key slot on your second Hotbar (1 by itself is the 1 key slot on your first hotbar). ff14 allows you to use cntrl, shift, and alt for this purpose. Because I am left handed I typically use a mirror keybinding setup which is I rebind my keys in-game so that my equivalent for wasd is pl;' While on my laptop the set of keys directly right of the space bar are alt

Hi all. I've just received my beautiful new Mercury Huntsman mini and am trying to add the num pad keys to a fn shortcut but have no idea how to do it. I've done the usual searches but nothing obvious is coming up. Is there a list of fn shortcuts anywhere that will help me remap some of the keys? Thank you.

Hello. I noticed that when I press CTRL + SHIFT + A in games, my character will cant move. And this only happens when Razer Synapse is on. If it is turned off, then everything works fine. There are no keyboard shortcuts or macros. What is the problem? Please help.

If I order a Razer Huntsman TE (the TKL version; not the Mini) right now, would its switches have the dampeners, or will they still be loud?

So I ordered a Huntsman Mini with Optical Red Linear Switches yesterday, and I was wondering since it's been a few month since it's release has the space bar been improved on newer batches of the Huntsman Mini, as I do like the sound of the switches from what I've heard on type test overall but the space bar did sound a little loud. Or is there a way to make the space bar quieter without voiding the warranty on the keyboard?

I just got some new Krakens and found that I needed the new Synapse 3 software to take advantage of the 7.1 surround. I thought that this is no big deal because I have a few other products (mouse, keyboard, and gamepad) that are configured through razer Synapse 2. I was wrong. Turns all my existing products have been labeled Legacy devices and I cannot control them through Synapse 3. So now I am running two versions of Synapse for everything to work. Why couldn't they just add support and programing capabilities into the latest version of Synapse 3? Now I feel like my stuff is dated.

First off let me say I really respect razer as a company. I have been using their products for many many years, I have keyboards, mice, headsets, phones, and laptops made by razer. But as someone who spends dozens of hours a day at the keyboard and who is part of an aging generation of gamers. I would really love to see a ergonomic keyboard option from razer. I also work in the IT industry and have been doing so for over 20 years. split ergonomic keyboards have been a staple for me over the past 5 years or so to combat arm, wrist, and hand issues due to prolonged use of traditional keyboards with square offset key button layouts. moving to a split, tented ergonomic keyboard with proper wrist support has drastically improved my quality of life for long hours at the screen. I can easily spend 15 hours straight gaming on a weekend and that's just Saturday. In a given week between my job an my gaming hobby I spend over 90 hours at a keyboard give or take. So when overwatch controls my keyboard its supposed to lightup the WASD keys, but for me it lights up ESDF and the J keys. Anyway to change this? is this a bug?

I'm trying to use my Tartarus for blender and one of the more commonly used hoteys is Numpad period(dot) to focus on the currently selected object but I can't figure out how to assign it in Synapse. I see every other numpad key listed under Keyboard Function -> Numpad but I don't see the period(.) key. Am I missing it somewhere else?

Hey, I'm new to Razer products, and I need some help with changing the output of the key containing + and =. I want to change the key so that that when I hold shift and click it, the key produces an = rather than a +. Appreciate the help.

is the Pro more beneficial than the V2? Would a user with Parkinson's be able to use the Pro? My shakes mainly deal with my mouse hand, rarely my gamepad hand. Just curious if anyone knows anyone with the disability and able to use the Pro with no issues. Many thanks in advance

I'm using the synapse software with blackwidow elite. I'd like to have it so that I press Shift+ [some key] and launch a program. Is this possible?

The lancehead TE I'm currently using has started to wear out due to it using mechanical switches. I really like the viper's shape but it is too light. I adore the lancehead as it fits my Claw/Palm hybrid grip wonderfully. It would be nice to have heavier ambidextrous flagship mice with things like optical switches, PTFE mouse feet and a speed flex cable just like the newer mice. Would it be too optimistic to expect such mouse in the future? Is there a larger razer fan base that also wants this or is it just me?https://vlc.onl/

So i currently have a regular huntsman and love it (normal edition) But i just ordered a razer blackwidow (also normal edition) Wondering what the differences are, pros/cons of both? Thanks guys

I just purchased the blackwidow chroma 2019 used and plugged it into my Mac. All the keys are set to the UK layout, for example, when I try to do an "&" sign, I have to press shift+6 instead of just shift+7. Any help with this would be great. It's been driving me insane!

Hey guys, I'm planning on purchasing my first mechanical keyboard and I think I've settled on getting a Razer one as a lot of my friends have recommended their keyboards. I'm not an expert when it comes to mechanical keyboards as I've never used them before (I've only used laptops), so I was really confused and unsure where to start when I saw how many different options thereAppvnwere available. Currently I'm looking at the Razer BlackWidow Elite, Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2, and the Razer Huntsman/Huntsman Elite, but I don't know how they compare relatively to each other. If you could rank these keyboards, which one would you say is the best? Is the Huntsman line the top of the pack for Razer keyboards? I mainly game and do web-browsing/media consumption, and being a laptop user I suppose ISHAREit don't really get the craze around click noises and actuation times. Also if anyone has recommendations for specific switch types/colours I'd really appreciate that as well!

Hi, I've only had the keyboard and mouse for about 2 weeks and its been great. The last couple of days the keyboard has been disconnecting and is gradually doing it more and more. I've checked the firmware is up to date,reset it and hard reset the xbox. I've changed usb ports aswell on the xbox and there's nothing else on the 2.4Ghz network that could cause interference and i'm about 2.5m fro the console in direct line of sight. Any thoughts?????

I have a Razer Huntsman Mini that I'm using both on Windows and Linux. Since there's no Linux support, I was expecting that I could program an on-board profile on Windows and use that on Linux, but I don't know how to activate it. On Windows Synapse, I've done a few minor customizations (mapped the right alt as hypershift button and a few macros for buttons not used in Hypershfit mode) and I have stored these into the 'red' on-board memory. When I boot Windows, Synapse starts and everything is fine, but on Linux, I just get the default behavior. Is there a key-combination I need to press to activate the profile? BTW: I've read that you need Synapse for some fo the lighthing, but I'm not interested in that, I do want the keyboard customization though.

Huntsman mini U key has not been lighting properly since purchase, however when Synapse is turned off, or temporarily after a firmware update it works and lights with the rest of the keys, then after a restart it's back to only lighting white while the rest of the keys are colored and performing effects. I've fiddled around allot with the effects styles and colors, but to no avail. I've reinstalled the software, and updated the firmware twice now. Is there any further troubleshooting I can do, or even possibly a setting I may have missed? Thankyou for your time.

Hello all. I really want to get a mercury/white keyboard but for some reason the one I want doesn’t come in Mercury – The Huntsman elite so I need to look elsewhere. I want a silent key press so no greens or purples but would be happy with either mechanical or optical. My current thoughts are either the Huntsman Mini - Linear Optical Switch – Mercury or the Huntsman Elite - Linear Optical Switch with Mercury PBT caps. Obviously I know the differences between a 60% and a full size and would lean towards a full size given the choice but I’m not sure I’m sold on the black base with white keys. Has anyone added white caps to their Huntsman Elite and have any good images or anyone else recommend one over the other? Thank you.

Hello. Trying to assign either Switch Keymap or Switch Profile to Hyperesponse Thumb Key. When pressing Hyperesponse Thumb Key the button won't cycle correctly. It either skips profiles or stick with the only one. I am trying to switch between 2 keymaps and when I press Hyperesponse Thumb Key the command switches to Keymap 2 and when I press it again it may not change it back to Keymap 1. I may need to press it 2-4 time till it switches back to Keymap 2. How can I make it work correctly so it switches between either 2 profiles or Keymaps with only one keypress? Thanks

Hi, I am trying to figure out if it is possible to remap the capslock key as the fn key so I can use the arrow jikl buttons more easily instead of awkwardly having to reach down to the actual physical fn key. I am using the Synapse software and I do not see the key available to bind the capslock key to fn. Any help would be appreciated otherwise I am going to have to sell this board and go get a ducky one 2 mecha mini as this can be done on those boards using their onboard macro system!

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has seen the issue where the PC is turned off but my Razer Pro Type keyboard stays on. I have the Synapse software set to turn off lighting after idle for 15 min. The keyboard was on all night. I'm using the USB dongle connection. Anyone else experience something like this? Thanks in advance.
