Razer Synapse 4

I need some help please. when ever I restart or switch off my PC and turn it back on, my lighting has been reset to spectrum cycling and my THX is set to off instead of the on setting before shutting down. Strangely enough my keyboard maintains all settings. When I uninstall Synapse 4 and install 3 the headset settings work perfectly, except for some audio crackling every now and then.The headset is a Kraken V3

As of this evening (July 17, 2025), my BlackShark V2 headset's surround sound is no longer working correctly. It seems like there was an automatic update that caused this issue. The audio is completely messed up, making the device unusable. Please investigate and provide a fix as soon as possible.

EVERY TWO SECONDS ITS RANDOMLY CHANGING THE PROFILE FOR MY KRAKEN HEADPHONES AND WHEN I TRY TO OPEN SYNAPSE 4 TO FIX THIS THAT TAB JUST CRASHES AND NEVER WORKS.  IF HEADPHONES AREN'T SUPPORTED JUST SAY SO!!!!!

I just installed synapse 4 on my 2024 blade 18 but when i go to the sounds tab the EQ its all messed up and sometimes it doesnt work, in addition games that have THX profiles (Red dead redemption 2, Half Life Alyx) dont display a THX sound profile but they did in synapse 3 

Before Synapse 4, I had Synapse 3 and it successfully managed to open the files I gave it (using the absolute path). I have upgraded to Synapse 4, synchronized everything I had and when I tried to open a windows file it does not let me. And yes, I have written the absolute path correctly.Here is the error:I have a Razer Naga X mouse for reference

Would the community please alert Razer that their threatened date to upload Synapse 4 is unwanted. Synapse 4 has so many bugs, won’t port over so many settings, keybinds, macros, etc. PLEASE IMPROVE SYNAPSE 4 before you drop previous versions!

Hello,Still the same issue with Alexa, which only works with a US account.I am a person with a disability, and I used Alexa on my computer with Razer in version 3 for daily life tasks—something I can no longer do with the new version.I reported this issue months ago (even during the beta), but it feels like the development team doesn’t want to fix it so that it can work with accounts from other regions (in my case, France).This is really bad news for people in my situation—it feels like Razer doesn’t care about disabled users...I am truly disappointed.

So I believe this is somekind of bug, for some reason I can’t select any macros and there is this notification about “Requires Razer Synapse”. I do have the macros on macros tab so at least the profile migration worked, but can’t use any….

I have had the Razer BlackWidow Elite (keyboard) and Razer Kraken Ultimate (headphones) for a few years now. They are both wired, both worked just fine, I used Synapse 3, and maybe a month or so ago switched to Synapse 4. Everything was working, everything was good, until this morning. I booted the PC and in the app it said I have no devices. When I went to the devices section it said that the devices were “Disconnected” and they were grayed out. I tried everything you would normally try: restarting the PC, the app, reinstalling the app, all that stuff, nothing helped. The devices are working I am typing this on the said keyboard, but the Synapse is not detecting them. Anybody knows what’s going on? Also, I don’t have another device on which I can test whether or not the issue would persist...

After a fresh Synapse 4 install both my Naga Trinity and Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed are seemingly stuck “Detecting Device...” There is another thread about this but it was locked after the first response so if they found a fix it’s in private messages… That being said, both my headset and keyboard are being detected just fine. My mice drivers are up to date and my Synapse is version 4.0.86.2411140357. Synapse 3 also had no problems detecting either mouse.  

Please bring back HDR for Dark Room and Bright room for Kiyo ProIn synapse 4 there is one switch HDR ON/OFF and this HDR doesnt work very well - Its very very darkAlso Kiyo Pro in Synapse 4 keeps disconnecting randomly after booting and login to windows  i have to replug the cable in camera.In Synapse 3 everything work fine.i have kiyo pro updated to 1.5.0.1 firmware Mb add some new functions for this camera i saw settings for Kiyo Pro Ultra it has so many settingsKiyo Pro have less settings in Synapse 4 than in Synapse 3In synapse 3 we’ve got auto focus Passive and ResponsiveIn synaspe 4 We’ve got switch for auto focus ON/OFF  

Snaptap on synapse v4 works for every other key combo besides A and D on my huntsman elite keyboard. I have no idea how to troubleshoot or fix this and i did restart my machine. Even other keys paired with only A or D don’t work either. (for example {A, C} do not work. {D, E} do not work. however {C, E} and {D, C} do work.)

In Razer Chroma Studio in the new Synapse 4 update i migrated my old Chroma Keyboard on my Razer Blade 15 and my Reactive Chroma effect fades away so fast and only fades for a milisecond with my actual color then for another milisecond it finishes white.On Synapse 3 it faded actually slow like i picked when i selected slow and it didnt fade to my color and then to white that i didnt even select 

DO NOT DOWNLOAD RAZER SYNAPSE 4!!!!! You will regret it!! I downloaded it and nothing on my 2800$ laptop is working properly! They need to fix this problem asap! Pathetic. My keyboard all messed up. Numbers aren’t working, F keys aren’t working. Try to migrate thinking that would fix issues but migrate isn’t working properly. Everything was great in synapse 3. Why changing something that works flawlessly! 

i installed and uninstalled razer synapse 4, then installed razer synapse 3 but my macros dont work, i click on macro tab and nothing happens, it doesnt get open, what can i do?

Does it exit at all?I know companies like Microsoft/Citrix etc have software scrubbers that will if needed clear out any left-over folders / files and registry entries settings etc of their software applications. Since I bought lemon / flawed tech by Razer (mainly a Deathstalker V2 Pro keyboard with persitent demo-mode issues) and support is not to quick to help me out I am hoping this community gets me pionted in the right direction. 

Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with my Razer USB Sound Card in Razer Synapse 4. When I connect the device, Synapse continuously shows "Updating" under the sound card, and it never finishes. Because of this, I’m unable to use the device properly.I have already tried the following steps: Restarted my PC Reinstalled Razer Synapse 4 Tried different USB ports None of these steps resolved the issue.Could you please help me fix this problem?Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards,  

I'm currently having my mobo Z690 Taichi Razer edition (This is the latest version motherboard with the BIOS flashed to v.18.0.3 directly and win11pro ready when it leaves the factory this year. There is no need to flash the BIOS manually like the old mobos), which doesn't show up in Synapse 4 any longer, even if it's the first install. It was mistakenly identified as the B550 AMD version, but it's Z690 Intel version. I don't want to return the Synapse 3 because I also bought the Freyja, which can only be driven by the 4. Please help me!!! 

Razer Nommo V2. Non pro. Purchased 12/2023 bad sound quality with THX spatial, missing sounds. Get it fixed February March 2024. Start Synapse 4 beta. Bad sound quality blah blah blah. Get it fixed there too. April 2024 through September 24. Everything is great. Synapse 4 goes live. Bad Sound quality with THX spatial. Missing sounds. THX profiles missing. I'm still on 3 because the ARGB controller is wack in Synapse 4. Few months later try 4 again.  Report the issue. Get a fix. THX profiles missing though. So what that was 4 to 5 months ago? Ive been missing those profiles and the games with missing profiles sound bad. Guess What! THX Spatial is not longer working again! Now everything sounds bad in THX Spatial mode. ARGB Controller needs turned off and on after every boot. This doesn't happen in 3 btw. So uhm Razer Synapse 4 just resets your custom config instead of porting it over from Synapse 3...? Everyting on my Blackshark V2 PRO was reset on Synapse 4. Thank god tho that even after installing Synapse 4, which deletes Synapse 3, my Synapse 3 still had it saved when i reinstalled it. So uninstalling the software and reinstalling it saves it but not upgrading from Synapse 3 → Synapse 4. Make it make sense Razer please.

Hi Razer Team,I just created this account specifically to share some feedback on Synapse because I really love Razer products but find Synapse a bit heavy and resource-consuming. On my PC, it added 2 seconds to the startup time.If you co-optimize Synapse with teams experienced in deep system optimization — like the Ghost Spectre developers who make Windows lightweight and snappy — I believe Synapse could become way more efficient and user-friendly without losing features.If the Ghost Spectre team could make Windows 11 feel like Linux, imagine how much those people can optimize Synapse.Even a “Lite Mode” version of Synapse for users who want just the essentials would be an awesome start.Thanks for listening!Looking forward to seeing Synapse evolve.

I am trying to get Synapse 4.0 to automatically change profiles, and it works for most games and programs. “Star Trek Online” is an exception.  Like several other games, Synapse automatically detects the *launcher* (“Star Trek Online.exe”) and adds it to the game list.  If you associate this with a profile, Synapse will change profiles only when you’re at the launcher.  It will then change back to whatever was selected before hand when you get past the launcher.  It also does this for FFXIV, but I was able to manually associate the game executable with the profile in addition to the launcher executable.For Star Trek Online, it simply refuses to let me add the “GameClient.exe” (the actual game) to the list of apps and games that can be associated with profiles.  If you remove STO from the games list and attempt to add “Star Trek Online.exe”, it’ll add that without a problem.  If you try to add “GameClient.exe” from the x64 subdirectory (this is the version that’s actually used), it does

Does this happen to anyone else and has anyone found a solution?I was having no issues with just my Naga V2 Hyperspeed mouse, but now that I've added a Deathstalker V2 keyboard, I find that Synapse frequently loses its connection with the mouse (as seen in the first screenshot). Then I restart Synapse and it regains the connection (second screenshot).I'm using Bluetooth and the mouse still moves and clicks, but my macros and the application switching do not.not working before restart working after restart
