Razer Synapse 4

Hello all, Since using synapse 4 I've got some troubles with my profiles for minecraft Java. Normaly I add the Java file in my games and it works. But with synapse 4 it delete it from the game list after every boot of minecraft and when it doesn't delete it it put it graued out saying it doesn't find it.  Is there another way or do I have to roll back to synapse 3? Thanks in advance

Razer synapse 4 is not running, i installed and deleted it but it does not work. When it was synapse 3 sometimes it couldnt recognise my Viper v3 pro and Blackshark v2 pro (2023)

Synapse 4 is not backwards compatible - causing ALL PROFILES TO BE ERASED. The interface is incredibly painful to use and customize for each game - many, many clicks to do what was quick and easy before.  UI/UX team should be replaced.  FAIL. Support refuses to respond.  After replying to reach request, they act like they didn’t get anything and send an email “we are closing your ticket for lack of response”  NO, you are closing it because you have poor quality, worse support, and garbage forced upgrades. THUMBS UP if you want Synapse 3 to have extended support until Synapse 4 has proper quality assurances and basic functionality including profile imports!  

Hi all, and RazerThere has been many posts about Synapse 4 keep crashing,And there has not been any response from Razer at all. the problem is that i love the Tec that thay produce, but the Synapse 4 is not getting fixed !!! at all , at the moment. Can Razer please acknowledge that there is a problem, and what thay are trying to do to sort it out. The longer that thay dont give any response, it just sends a message, that thay dont seam to care !!.I dont think that is the case, but please respond Razer,because the longer  thay leave it, the more damage it is doing for there reputation . Thanks in advance Razer

Razer Chroma addressable RGB controller facing problem that Synapse 4 dont recognize my connected device every time i startup pc, need to manually click refresh the controller in synapse to let chroma studio knew there is rgb device.

I have a Razer mouse, keyboards, ARGB controller, and have recently purchased a Sieren V3 Chroma microphone. I really like Razer hardware, but I have had no end of issues with the software - particularly when it comes to using Razer Chrome to control RGB lighting. I have been using SignalRGB to control my LED lighting of late, and it just works. No effort, no issues - it just works. I can't however run Razer Synapse and SignalRGB at the same time, meaning that I lose other functionality provided by Synapse.My feature request - allow me to completely disable Chroma while still runing Synapse. I can then use something else to control RGB lighting while still making use of Razer Synapse features. 

Scroll toggle mode works slower in Razer Synapse 4 and I can feel a delay. In Razer Synapse 3 it worked better. I use a Razer Basilisk V3, Windows 11.

On a fresh install of Synapse 4, the mic volume for my Nari Ultimate headset keeps getting turned down from 100 to < 20. This has an impact on any application that uses the mic, such as Teams, Discord, et cetera.The only workaround I’ve found is to close out all Synapse applications.Is there any way to disable mic volume auto adjustment in Synapse?

After upgrading to Synapse 4 back in July, I discovered my macros didn’t work at all - not just on my PC but on my laptop also. Inside a separate application, Synapse 4 would just not record with the overlay feature that Synapse 3 did.I contacted support, spoke with many reps, uploaded several videos, and did the clean install process - still the macros feature would not work. I own many Razer products over the years: the Razer Cynosa keyboard, the razer basilisk mouse (v2), a headset, a razer blade laptop. I once had the phone when that was a thing - several different headsets, the Seiren mic. Getting an answer from support on older products I have is pretty lousy. Reps once had me order and return the wrong battery charger for my laptop multiple times before finally confirming they don’t sell compatible ones anymore, but my old stuff still works great besides. I’ll keep replacing the battery on my Razer blade until it explodesHowever, lack of working macros is a deal-breaker for me.

Hi guys, is it a known bug that the old Synapse 3 macro feature of recording a key down press and no up press resulted in the key being held down when activated doesn’t work in Synapse 4?Has anybody been able to find a workaround for this on Synapse 4 or is downgrading back to 3 the only way to get that capability back?Cheers.

Today I received a new Basilisk V3 mouse. But somehow it wasn’t recognized by my Synapse 3 software that I had installed for my Tartarus V3.So, without giving it too much thought I upgraded to Synapse 4.Which send me straight to hell.Not only am I unable to assign any keys to my new mouse but it also completely screwed up all my Tartarus macros and configurations.And there is no way that I can reproduce the functionality I had in my Tartarus with Synapse 4.Not only is this newly aquired mouse useless this way but it also comletely destroyed a product I have been using for many years.And of course there is no way to revert back to Synapse 3.  So thanks but no thanks Razer!!!! I will return the mouse and I will never ever buy a Razer product again.

Using a Deathadder V4 pro Synapse 4 just got auto updated to the latest version (4.0.86.2601201054) App profile switching now completely dead - literally does not function at all anytime anywhere - completely dead. Not working:  Unlinking/relinking apps Recreating profiles from scratch Restarting Synapse Clean reinstall of Synapse 4 **FRESH WINDOWS INSTALLATION FROM SCRATCH** I can’t rollback just 1 version to get a usable mouse, while Synapse 3 don’t work with DA V4.  Comfusing why deprecating the polished Synapse 3 and I am forced to use such a bs. Come to conclude that Synapse 4 is absolutely TRASH and the team of the Synapse 4 should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY 

**Device:** Razer Ornata V3 X (Wired, Turkish Q layout)**System:** Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 16-core## IssueRandom 100-200ms system-wide freezes every 5-10 seconds when ANY Razer software is running. Affects games (Valorant, CS:GO), browsing, everything. Even only restarted and without start any apps except Razer auto-start.## What I Tested- Synapse 3 - freezes occur- Synapse 4 - freezes occur- Complete uninstall of all Razer software - NO FREEZES## Diagnostic Data (Windows Performance Counters)- Context switches: **166,588/sec** (normal is 20,000-50,000)- Interrupts: 60,000-100,000/sec- After uninstalling all Razer software: Context switches drop to normal, freezes completely stop## Problematic Services Identified- Razer Chroma SDK Server- Razer Chroma Stream Server- Razer Game Manager Service- Razer Central Service- Razer Synapse Service## Important ObservationWhen I tried to disable these services using Windows `sc config`, they auto-restart after ~2 minutes. This is another “will they have fix these bug?” post.I have two major isisues with Synapse 4. Razer Hanbo does not detect the fans and shows 0 RPM for dan speed, and 0° C for my GPU temp The fans on my razer Hanbo seem to just run at mac speed, and have no RGB lights on working If Synapse 4 is open, the media controls on my Huntsman Elite stop working If I close synapse 4, media controls work again If anyone has any fixes for these issues, or work arounds, feel free to let me know

Hello!I’m having a problem switching profiles on my mouse (Naga v2 pro) when I’m connected to my dock pro.Everything works fine when I use an USB cable, but when I try switching profiles on wireless (2.4), Synapse is switching profiles alright, but my mouse is still “stuck” on the last profile (or even on default key mapping sometimes)I found this 2 years old post: It looks like it’s a similar issue.Any idea how to fix this? Hello, I recently purchased a new Naga V2 HyperSpeed and I think I'm having a problem with Synapse. The Windows shortcut for increasing and decreasing screen brightness only works when I plug in the dongle. I don't have this problem with other shortcuts. Can you help me? thanks :)

Hi.Probably all know that macro on synapse 4 not working the same as in synapse 3.I just created support ticket and report an issue, this will be probably the most curved road but maybe I will handle that.I notice that macro from synapse 3 moved to synapse 4 is played once even if option is set “play while assigned key is pressed”There is an option to set a loop for but if I add this option I give a information in synapse 4 that’s it required razer synapse…I have walkaround but it’s impacting on lighting on all your razer devices which might be dangerous for them.When I have installed both synapses - 3 and 4, Im able to use macro from synapse 3 and lighting from synapse 4 but there is some sort of glitch on the lighting, its turning off for a second randomly. If someone will use this walkaround you are using on your own risk.I will update the thread when I will have some information from the customer support.I also encourage you to report any problems with the application because even

Just build my new PC. with a fresh copy of Windows 11 Pro and  download a fresh copy Synapse 4. I have a Tartarus V2 and a NagaV2 Pro. The profiles appear to migrate from Razer Cloud storage. Downloaded fresh copies of my games to new a NvMe drive. I go to test one of the games with the New Synapse 4 and nothing happens. I see all the profiles and Marcos. I tested manually changing to the game’s profile. The profile seem to load but if I press the button the default key action happens. This happened the last time I tested upgrading to 4. I immediately deleted it and went back to 3 with zero profiles issue. I guess something is not functioning properly but I’m not aware of anything else that is needed. For the initial upgraded I followed the step to do it and it failed just as bad.  Any advise other then going back to 3 since it’s near end of life? Thanks in advance.

I want a Synapse macros that (of my Tartarus V2) switch to another keymap and also switch to a different Chroma effect for each keymap. Given that the commands SWITCH KEYMAP and SWITCH CHROMA EFFECT cannot be inserted in macros, I've tried the following workaround.In each keymap I've mapped a key (e.g. key 01 of Tartarus) to SWITCH KEYMAP (from keymap 1 to keymap 2, from keymap 2 to keymap 3 and from keymap 3 to keymap 1) In each keymap I've also mapped another key (e.g. key 02 of Tartarus) to SWITCH CHROMA EFFECT, i.e. a different Chroma effect for each keymap (e.g. "static orange" in keymap 1, "static green" in keymap 2, "static blue" in keymap 3). I've created a macro in which I've recorded they keys mapped above (e.g., on Tartarus: "press key 01, release key 01, press key 02, release key 02"). This was buggy on Synapse 3 and broke in beta. So, grateful to see Synapse 4 was taken out of beta with all the bugs included too.. And even more bugs, as things that were half working now completely don’t anymore.. Awesome progress 😂 Problem: Actuation key travel adjustments do not save, and stay at the default 2.5mm, even when setting all keys using the sync all keys to say the max 3.6mm... it will still stay at 2.5mm!!! This is the most annoying bug, as it has literally removed a major functionality from the device. So, I’d be very grateful if it could be fixed. Then maybe I can at least half use it for something other then using it to catch dust 🤷 And before you say reinstall it, etc.. Already tried  all the 101 of installation fixing..  

This current version of Synapse, specifically Chroma, is very slow. Has been for quite a few weeks now! Upwards of 12 Gb of RAM usage and still freezes. Also not getting lighting effects with Apex Legends. Still needs further testing. Probably try the current Beta. I need an update already! Thanks!

Apparently I’m not the only one with this problem... I bought new headphones for 200 usd, connected them to the PC and synapse, they were detected, but did not respond to the sound settings at all... Equalizer, loudness, noise isolation, and other settings do not affect the headset in any way . The sad thing is that such a small indie company as Razer cannot afford an adequate programming staff. I'm using Windows 11 24H2 latest build.

Razor Synapse 4 has a bug that's been bothering me for a long time. Synapse sometimes minimizes games to the desktop. This even happened to me mid-game in Black Ops 7. The only solution was to manually disable the Razor Elevation Service and the Razor Game Manager Service. One of these two services is causing games to minimize. The error did not occur again in Windows 10 after that.
