  1. Hey everyone,

I need some advice on whether or not to purchase something from Razer. At the moment I'm thinking of buying either a new Blade with 4K and touch, or a Blade Pro.

I'm a 3D animation student and I need a laptop to work on projects at home. I'll be using 3DS MAX, Adobe Suite - especially After Effects and Premier Pro - as well as Photoshop for digital painting, and a few other different softwares. I need something that I can use to model and animate as well as render out scenes at home. I will be using the desktops at college for a lot of my work, but I also need to be able to work at home, and my situation really isn't practical for a desktop at the moment. I'm also thinking I might be taking it to college every so often to work there, so portability is a factor, which is one of my biggest worries about the Pro, that it would be impractical to take places. On the other hand, I will have to wait an unspecified amount of time for the 4K Blade to be released onto the European market.

Does anyone have any experiences of using this software with Razer systems or any other advice in general?

The Blade Pro is meant to be that - an ultra portable workstation.

Spec wise, it going to suit you better with programs like 3DS Max and After Effects.

I would go for the more expensive one. I'm a snob like that like that, that's why I'm strangling on credit card debt!

Plus its good for Razer which is always good! lol j/k!

Seriously you're already spending a chunk of change, might as well go all in and be assured your demands are gonna be met! I hate having buyers remorse after the fact and not getting what I expected.

But hey, its your hard cashed! You spend it as you see fit! I'm just giving my two cents!

Happy Hunting! And I hope you enjoy your new laptop! Good Luck!
