I read... truth be told, I might even be more passionate about reading than I am about gaming. Really depends on my mood as to which appeals more at any given time.

However, it's very convenient that I can pick a book series up that is roughly 300-450 pages per book with anywhere from 5-8 books in the series and then I will have them all completed in anywhere from 2-4 days. (really depends on if it's weekday or weekend days and how many errands I have to run and what other responsibilities I have at the time) Leaves plenty of time to read a series or two and not miss out on much gaming time.

How can you have time to do something else when you're a gamer?

I'm a lazy gamer, hard to have me move my body to the outside world so I'm more into food and cooking food. Though it sounds like I might be a lazy aloof whale (could be fun), I just have interest in too many things to choose and end up rarely doing anything. I used to ride horses, sew costumes, I can sing, I can play the piano, I read a lot, enjoy cars and fast driving, swimming, skiing, traveling in general, board games too, I even had cinema as my main topic for my high school diploma, but naps, good meals and games are just too appealing so all of the other activites are... side activities now :)
Fortunately asian blood runs in my veins so eating and being lazy is not affecting my body as much as it should :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have a track prepped Miata I use for HPDEs when I can up at Summit Point, but I'm kind of taking a break at the moment (Spring=good, Fall=good, track days in the middle of summer=way too hot). I used to spend a more time on setup and tweaking but once things got fairly dialed in I'd much rather spend my time driving than wrenching.

Well since I have changed shifts and went to third shift, it has been really hard for me to game or anything. But when I have free time and not gaming, I love the Outdoors. I shoot archery/guns and love taking my son outside to play. Nothing beats playing with your kids and watching them be happy. This is why I would normally play games at night but this third shift work is killing my gaming time. Game on friends!

    I'm a lawyer, newly-minted, so I work a lot.

I read books depending on what season it is - I'm a big reader in the Summer because I do my usual sea monster / water-related spooky books thing (I read three Benchley books and then search the library for other sea monster/creature stuff) and then in Winter I do it again with cold settings and DnD books mostly.

I like to run and do my best to make use of my gym membership - I'm bizarrely afraid of getting out of shape and falling into some kind of video game player stereotype (no idea why that matters to me...).

I also have two Shepsky dogs, and I love to take them on trips and things - they get such a kick out of parks and the like.

My wife and I also try to do hobby things together if we don't play games or watch something.

And for some reason, home improvement has become a hobby now that I actually own a house.

If I'm not working I just stay home, if not gaming then I'm watching anime, movies or tv series.

    Soccer! : )
Moreover I think some sport is a good compensation to playing games. ;)

Well when I'm not gaming I'm either at school, applying for jobs but as a hobby I like to cosplay, mostly turning game models into pepakura but it's very relaxing.... Most of the time ;)
