    Do you guys think a pascal update is unrealistic? Maybe the pro gets one

    The 14 will not have a pascal upgrade, it has already shipped out and some sponsored razer guys already have it. I believe the razer pro will either have a 980m or a pascal though.

    I'm just praying that I win the new sweepstakes with this laptop. I need a strong laptop for college, and this is my dream machine. Unfortunately, I do not have the financial resources to buy it myself, nor will anyone hire me for a job because I'm leaving for college soon, so there's no point in doing so. If I don't win this, I'll just have to settle for something like the Dell 7559, which is about all I can afford with my savings. If I do, I'll get my dream laptop and I can allocate my savings towards college expenses. If you guys could send some prayers my way that I win, I'd appreciate it. :)

    What promotion are you talking about? They are not offering promotions on blades, much less a free one.

    Hows the typing experience on the keyboard. Does it have a good key travel?

    Razer decided to include student discount for Stealth? Stealth has been removed from exclusions. It so unfair @Razer|Junch. I registered and received my 5% student discount code but I couldn't use it when I bought my Stealth on 4/28/16. I could have invested that $50 towards a Razer keyboard or mouse. :slightly_sad:

    Or you could have gotten the 10% student discount on the microsoft store.

    They have had the stealth since way before 4/28/16. Its been there a while. If you really want the money, just return your stealth and get the microsoft store one.

    @TheGurgeMan
    Thanks for the info!
    Microsoft store only carries the UHD version. I own a QHD. Instead of spending the extra $300 on a 4K screen, I would rather spend it on the Core + GTX 1070.
    Do you happen to know if the Core will support the next generation of GTX cards??

    It should. The stealths cpu might bottleneck them though.

    Never forget Thunderbolt 3's limitations too. That thing is an amazing piece of tech, but sadly, aging by the day, as is with most technologies.

    Question regarding any of the Blade versions: is the DPI on the trackpad adjustable? Most laptops have "slow" and "fast" speed, but the DPI can't be more than 1000. My frustration with using trackpads and always needing to plug in a mouse comes from being a high-sense gamer. I get sooo annoyed having to swipe the trackpad so much.

    I think trackpads are made for multimedia browsing and video watching. You are basiclly required to use a mouse for gaming. I think there is adjustable speeds, but I dont know about the dpi.

    I can't imagine why anyone would want to properly game on the trackpad over a mouse unless 1) it was a game meant to be played on a trackpad, 2) there's not enough space on the table for a mouse, like an economy class seat, or 3) there's a physical disability/limitation that prevents you from using a mouse and only allowing you to use a trackpad.
