As the title states I bought a new wireless Mamba, (Was running an Ouroboros for years), and immediately after plugging the Mamba in my Man 'O War 7.1 headset stopped working (Non wireless version). Synapse never could see the headset which I bought less than 6 months ago, but I assumed that because it doesn't light up or have Chroma features that it just wasn't a device that Synapse could see or control...which was a reasonable assumption because it seemed to work perfectly (I've since done some research and know that the headset should be visible in Synapse).

Great sound quality, though it didn't get super loud, but I thought it was just designed not to get loud enough to damage my ears...it was definitely loud enough to not need to run at full volume though, even listening to loud angry music, and the microphone worked flawlessly. I decided to replace my Ouroboros with a newer Chroma capable mouse and bought a Mamba...plugged it into my computer and now my microphone doesn't work at all, and all of the sound from the headset is super distorted sounding...also the volume that the headset can go to is literally double what it would before (Gets loud enough now to actually hurt my ears from volume, not just from the distorted nature of the sound).

I had my computer running and was using my Ouroboros for about 30-40 minutes before I plugged in the Mamba for the first time, and I was in Discord talking to people at that time, so I know the headset microphone worked...the minute I plugged in my Mamba everything went down the crapper. Synapse has not been able to see the Mamba yet, though other than that it seems to work just fine both wireless and plugged in directly. I've totally uninstalled Synapse a total of 3 times, and the same for Discord. I doubt the hardware of my headset randomly went bad being so new given the fantastic performance and longevity I've had with my Razer products over the last near decade, and also given the timing of it working fine until the very second I plugged my new Mamba in. I'm on the newest software version of Synapse, and I've tried everything under the sun that I possibly think of and literally nothing has made even the slightest bit of difference.

I'm looking for some ideas because I'm very frustrated and can usually figure these type of things out on my own in a day or two and it's been a week now and I'm no nearer to a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and the machine is running on Windows 10 version 1709. I have submitted a ticket but the 500 character limit did not give me adequate space to describe all facets of the issue so I'm posting this here also. Again, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yo! What version of Synapse did you install? Also, have you tried uninstalling the headset and mouse drivers? If not, I'd give it a shot then reboot to let Windows reinstall fresh ones.

I tried both the legacy and new versions multiple times. I thought a complete uninstall would remove said drivers, but if it doesn't then no, I haven't tried that. I guess I'll try to figure out how to fgind them.

I sent you a guide of sorts via PM. Respond to me there should you need further assistance.
