The Firefly Hyperflux and Mamba Hyperflux gave me the idea for an extended Firefly that can charge a wireless keyboard. Are there any reasons that wouldn't be able to work? I know that would be really expensive
I want a Razer Firefly Extended too, then i can use it. I cannot use the Standard Firefly, its way too small.
I might be wrong because i'm no engineer so please feel free to correct my points, but here's my opinion on the extended wireless firefly. It'll not work because: 1. Imagine the price tag. 2. A single USB 3.0 port, 5V 0.9mAh/1.5mAh(don't know which one to use, because i don't know if a wireless charged device is for "device" or power") is simply not enough to power 2 wireless charged devices at the same time. Not to mention the power consumption for the LED strips of the extended firefly. Unless the extended firefly has an independent power supply(ex. a DC power adapter). But i doubt they will implement it because it'll just make the extended firefly bulky and messy, which is kind of contradictory to Razer's design style, the "minimalistic" approach. So yeah that's my 2 cents.
A firefly extended would be nice, the price tag doesn't really bother me since the firefly right now its $60 and im pretty sure the extended version would be $99. The USB would work fine USBS can power a entire keyboard so I'm pretty sure it would do fine @chwelves
