I will have to agree that Razer Kraken is the best out there IMHO.

I own a black Razer Kraken Pro (stereo) and love everything about that headset; design, performance and feel! Just awesome!

How`s the bass on kraken 7.1?

Actually it's pretty good. You also have Bass Booster in the Synapse 2.0. If you want your head to crack up, you just have to enable it ^^

Hopefully Razer continues to innovate at a rapid pace or else we're gonna run out of Razer-related topics to discuss. It is day 2 and we're already pretty close.

@evilCookie i am not using RS cause the only time i would need surround is in competitive FPS but then the Razer Surround would fkup my Creative drivers.

    Edit: that`s what i thought @allbricks :slightly_sad:

It's Razer we are talking about mate. We'll never run out of Razer-related topics to discuss.. They are just endless

Edit: You are right @terrortime but still.. the headset is pretty good... ^^

It's nothing against you or this thread, but rather a concern for a week from now when we've exhausted every topic of discussion that has anything to do with Razer. Winter is coming.

ETA: Sorry for derailing your thread mang. Back on topic, my favorite Razer headset that I've tried is the Kraken Pro. I also own the Hammerhead Pro but only use it for portable gaming, and it seems to be better for music than the kraken.

In-ear headset better than over-ear ones? This sounds interesting ^^

Because krakens aren`t made for music. I don`t know about Hammerheads, inear headphones just seems pointless to me.

@terrortime I totally agree with you about the in-ear headphones being pointless..

I am rocking the Tiamat 7.1s. One of the most amazing pieces of hardware I have ever owned.

    i have the
    Razer BlackShark Headset
It's very good and very good quality
But a bit glitchy on my iPad (YouTube vids)

Atleast you can use them on your iPad..
The only thing I don't like in my Kraken 7.1 is that I can use them only on my PC :slightly_sad:(

My favorite Razer headset is probably the Kraken 7.1, but I prefer a good audiophile headset from Sennheiser over that. Gotta love that earcup-based volume control.
  17. I own both Kraken Pro and Hammerhead and I'm not sure if Hammerheads are really so pointless as gaming headphones... To be honest I haven't tried them out in game (as I do with Kranen Pro) but sound's quality is similar to Kraken Pro (maybe has just deeper bass). But I've bought in-ear headphones mostly for music not gaming :D

Two things I dislike about the Hammerheads:

    1. Too much Bass
    2. Sound stage is worse than with the Kraken Pro

I have the Hammerhead Pro earphones and I really love them. I've used them for a multitude of things including gaming when I need to keep things quiet, watching movies on my laptop and even connected to my phone for various apps and for phone calls. I would like to own a Kraken 7.1 at some point for variety, but I have a really nice set of speakers hooked up to my PC for gaming and I'm not a big hurry for that right now.

So yeah, short version: I like the Hammerhead Pro quiet a bit. :)
