It really depends on what you're going to be using it for, and how you tend to hold your mouse, but I've had the Razer Mamba for almost 5 years now, and I love it. But like I said, it depends on usage, and your own style. The Razer store does have a great tool to help you with that though!

Deathadder. Have not tried anything better. Great product.

  4. Ourobourus is great lots of customisation from removable side panels, adjustable length and a tilt control on the palm rest. I love it and have had it for almost a year and have had no problems except for a little button squeak on the left mouse button (but can be fixed with some WD-40). Hope this helps

Everyone has their own preference and grip style. I would strongly recommend you to read through this before you make any decision on which mouse you are going to get.

to this day my ambidextrous Lachesis is amazing. The dpi is much lower than the newer ones.... but I love it so

The Razer Ouroboros is a nice mouse. It's ambidextrous with interchangeable side panels depending on how you want to game and the adjustable palm grip is a nice touch. As ShadowVemon mentioned when you use it for the first few hours it is fine but then a squeak appears. Don't freak out like I did because it is meant to happen. I just watched a YouTube video and applied WD-40 and it was fixed right away. It is a good Razer mouse. :)

It really all depends on what you like. I use the Taipan and love it. However, the new mice with 10k dpi will seem fancy, but are you actually going to use it that sensitive? My taipan goes up to 8.2k but I only use it ~2k.

You can alter the setting at acceleration and that will improve control in higher dpi.

Deathadder is my choice for FPS and most games :D or Taipan. Heard the Naga is nice for MOBAS and mmos.

The naga. that third handle bit, I don't know the actual name, is just lovely. I used to use the mamba, but I just can't go back.

Naga is outstanding for any game that uses a lot of keybinds (which is most games now-a-days)

I strongly recommend the Naga Epic for its superior comfort - those three interchangeable side panels are amazing, and allow it to fit almost any hand or grip style.

That said, avoid the Chroma edition, since for some reason they did away with that feature, in favor of a one-size-fits-some model, with no customization. The chroma edition is basically just a wireless version of the normal Naga, with rainbow... not really worth the extra cash imo.

Doesn't look like Razer sells the pre-chroma edition Epic on their site anymore though, so you'll have to find another retailer. Cheapest option I found when I ordered mine last was from Walmart's website.

    Good luck!

Have to agree with you. It is all personal preference. For me I feel most comfortable and I play great when I am using my MX518 but as a mouse I think Naga and Deathadder both are epic. Ourobourus I think is just too serious and not required. To select the best mouse you have to use it and see how comfortable you feel and the specs and performance comes next.

Indeed. I first bought a Deathadder black addition. After read through review at some forum, a lot people recommend Ouroboros. So, I went to get 1 for myself. Used it for half year and still don't like it. End up bought myself another Deathadder 2013.

I started out with the Razer Lachesis and it was just horrible. Simply dreadful to hold.

Quickly got a hold of a Mamba, and i have never wanted any other mouse since that.
It's super comfortable and i believe the Deathadder is just as comfortable to use.

I own the Naga hex as well but i am not a huge fan of the side buttons. I personally cannot get used to using them.

Loved the Deathadder for its ergonomics. That thing feels amazing in your hand. Nowadays I would have to go for the Naga as I usually olay mmos

Death Adder for pure comfort, however I also highly recommend the Naga.

On a sidenote, I wish the newer versions of the Naga kept (or offered the option of) the placement of button #4 and 5 next to the LMB vs. under the scroll wheel. I have very large hands and buttons there are not possible for me to use without nearly lifting my entire hand off the mouse.
